Are these trichomes ready

Lol I didn't know that there was such a drastic change in the knowledge of harvesting in the last 4+ years that people who posted stuff in 2009, 2012 would be completely wrong in the year 2016.

You asked if your plant was ready & we told you no. You did not like our answer & you got defensive & argumentative. Since you seem to already have all of the information you need from people's posts from 2009 and 2012 why in the hell are you even on here arguing with the people that are nice enough to give you their opinion after you ask?

So can we just get back on topic. I am simply looking into the aspect of my trichomes for opinions as to a realistic harvest time frame, and if they suggest 2 weeks and say because of pistils just don't please. I am not looking for questions on my pistils. I will be able to judge my pistil color just fine. This is strictly just about the cloudiness of the trichomes. Below is a comparison my two different plants I have. One is of the cloudy trichomes, the other fully clear trichomes not ready at all for harvest.

All I was simply looking for is another eye sight on the level or cloudiness. To me the original plant I posted about the trichomes to me look mainly cloudy. This is no means is saying I am going to harvest tonight or even 3 days from now. I will not however wait 2 weeks from now because I am not wanting or looking for mostly Amber trichomes.

I asked if the trichomes were ready. Where is this being confused with my plant being ready. I have to what I see is mostly cloudy trichomes, I do not like a narcotic type of high so less Amber is better for me. This is my 3rd harvest so I know a general idea of when my plants are fully ready for harvest. All I was looking for is anyone seeing mostly cloudy trichomes. I didn't think I would have to get into the much depth over a simple second set of eyes looking for cloudy trichomes as well or not. There should have been no reason to get this involved because people want to veer of topic assuming things.

With all due respect - you ask people for their opinions and when they give it you become argumentative and question their answers. Why ask the question to begin with if you have already formed your own opinion as to what the answer is? And what's the difference between the trichs being ready and the plant being ready?

Trying to help OP out and you get this response.

Back to the post, OP you clearly already have your answer. I assume you know best, so go by your own intentions.

These trichomes look pretty cloudy to me, looking for additional opinions.

In my opinion, they are far enough advanced (brown hair all over the place) to cut.
After the plant is cut, the buds will continue to mature even further. It's not like you stop it from ripening by snipping a bud, like a tomato, it continues to mature after cut. Same shit.
Plus it depends on high desired, want a deeper high, keep growing.
A lighter high, cut now.

Because there are different desired levels of readiness in the harvest time. If the trichomes are majority cloudy it marks the beginning of possible harvest time. After that depends on other factors such as following the pistil color if you desire, waiting for more Amber trichomes, waiting for mostly all Amber trichomes, so if they are as I see mostly cloudy I know I can safely harvest now if wanted or wait longer until I feel my desired thc level is there. I didn't want or mean for this to turn into a piss match but I felt insulted with the fool thing. I appreciate all opinions and will take hem in for consideration, just not into the passive aggressive stuff.

Dude. They aren't even cloudy.

I see mostly clear.

I don't know why you think they are cloudy. They aren't.

What you are calling "cloudy" is actually light reflection.

If they were mostly cloudy. You would see a couple Amber.

There is no Amber at all.

This plants trics are no where near mature.

1-2 weeks like the other experienced growers has already told you.
