Are they getting better?

I recently got my medical marijuana card and this is my first grow ever. So my first set of babies have been going through some rough times. I'm fairly sure I did the first big newb mistake and tried to drown them right away. Heres some info and pics.

7x13x9 room w/ two 600watt HPS bulbs in cooltubes. 6 inch centrifugal fan on the cool tubes. Theres also a 8 inch fan on a Phresh filter. All ducting leads outside the room and theres a oscillating fan in the room as well. I've had the plants for 5 days.

Day 1- 11 plants arrive already about 1 foot tall, in red plastic cups, rootbound. I lightly watered and placed the lights about 2 inches from the top of the plants. Cold weather, temp in room about 60 degrees.

Day 2- Light watering. Noticing leaves turning yellowish and sagging. (thinking lack of nutrients) 60 degrees.

Day 3- Transplant to 2 gallon pots of Foxfarm Ocean Forest, and watered them heavily. Pretty damn sure I almost drowned them. Added heater to the room, temp raised to around 70 degrees.

Day 4- Came home w/ a PH meter to find 2-3 fan leaves turning very yellow/brown and after testing my PH realized my tap is 7.5-8.0. Fearing over watering and PH I re-planting them in Ocean Forest and lightly watered using vinegar to lower the PH. I got the water PH down to 6.5, and when mixed with 1 cup of soil then tested the soil drained water was about 6.0. 70 degrees. Moved the lights up a few inches.

Day 5- Plants look a little greener, had to remove a few big fan leaves that looked pretty done for. They still look droopy but I haven't seen them turning more yellow. One or two look as if they MIGHT be perking up a bit. No watering. Looks dry on top but the soil is moist when I stick my finger 1-2 inches down. 70 degrees.

So... How do they look? I'm feeling better about their survival. The person they came from got busted the night after I got them. So since the cops didn't get these girls, I can't bare to let them die. Also, should I use light nutrients or just water for now? They guy at the grow store said Ocean Forest doesn't need anything for the first couple weeks. Thanks a ton in advance for all the help this forum gives! I've learned so much in the past 5 days from this site alone.

OH! And I did notice 1 or 3 spider mites. I looked over them pretty well and only found a few. I bought some spider mite spray but wasn't sure if it was a good idea to spray them in the condition they are in.

I also just read that misting the plants under HPS w/ the lights on burns them. I'm guessing that would be whats causing those yellow spots? =( Fuck, I wont do that again.

It's hard to say from the HPS pics but the third pic looks Iron deficient. Here's what Fe def looks like:

Blood Meal is a very strong source of Iron. Bone Meal, Guanos and Maxicrop also have a good amount of Fe. The way your plants are wilting, you probably need to work on either the temps or your watering schedule. Wait until the top third or so of the soil is bone dry before watering. Poke a finger in the soil and if it feels dry at your fingertip, it's watering time. The fourth pic looks like it may be Phosphorus deficient.
