Are they getting over overcrowded? Should I prune them?

Hi fellas
I have 2 things in my mind

1., I have these 5 ladies in my tent, but i have suspicion that they are getting too bushy so the lower branches are not getting enough light?
But I have no idea how to prune them in order for the light to cover everything.

So guys, what do you think about them?

2., I checked this technic online, topping and fimming, are they ready for them?
Should i avoid pruning and topping at the same time?

Learn from my mistakes- if you're new to growing (like myself) be VERY careful about defoliation period.

I would suggest no defoliation and when in flower tuck the leaves that may need to expose lower branches.

I totally f'd many planta by over defoliation.

Gl, the ladies look great ✌☮✌

I believe I won't prune them, but I would top or fim them.

When should i do that? I should wait until they get higher, right?

And as to topping/fim, I'd do whichever one you're want to asap. Figure plants strech almost twice their height, so really depends on your space. Me, i grow sog 1 gal pots and throw the ladies into flower when the clones are 8-10" high.
