I started out with seeds I got from my dispensary that I guess were given on accident. I germed with paper towel method on October 15th and they did well and were ready in 1 day. I put them in soil which is Patio Plus. I watered them well and left for the weekend. When I came back after 2 days they were sprouted.
For the first week and a half or so they were growing outside and getting only about 4-5 hours of direct sunlight a day. I finally got my grow tent about a week ago and they’ve been in there ever since. I use a 600 W LED with a veg and bloom switch but I turn both of them on. The temp inside averages at about 72 degrees and the humidity averages about 40 - 60 %. I have 3 flaps in the tent. One is connected to an exhaust fan and 2 are just open for airflow. The light also has two small fans on it. For the first 2 days in the tent I had them on 16/8. But for the past 3 or 4 days they been 20/4.
For the first like 2 weeks I was watering them about once a day then I moved them to bigger pots. They’ve been in the bigger pots for about 3 days now and I watered them decently well without soaking about 3 days ago and did a light watering yesterday because the soil felt dry. Do you think they are growing slow. Canyou tell if they are male or female yet?
***Disclaimer*** I am a broke college student. I am not gonna buy any extra nutes to put in the soil. Also I kinda like the idea that it was only grown in soil. I wanted to use organic soil but couldn’t afford it. I use water that is about ph 6 or 7. Not tap unless I’ve left it out 24 hours.
