Are Those LED's any good?

I was ridiculously close to buying a mars led fixture on ebay because they seemed to have a great feedback record and there is a seller located not too far. Although I tend to be extremely meticulous about my research and make great effort to research the best bang for the buck.

I ended up taking a few weeks to read articles across multiple forums and found members like SupraSPL, Realstyles, and Alesh to name a few whom are very experienced in this field and provide excellent advice about the new larger COB style led's sold by American manufacturer Cree in particular(150w true power cxb3590's are latest greatest model at this time... i believe) These lights arent cheap but very simple to wire up and when run with the correct driver and at low power have changed the game for led growers in return on bud quantity, flavor, better visibility in grow room and lower electrical consumption overall. Did I mention these LED's are a next generation product from USA?

With approx $200 and an evening mostly burning out and finding new cpu fans while trying to wire them right.. I built a 150 true watt dual 72v cxb3590 cob rig driven by a Taiwan made dimmable Meanwell hlg-120h-c1050a which is something like twice as efficient as a mars fixture or similar cheap led option, and better/ cheaper than all the high end led manufacturers whom havnt had a chance to implement these components yet. Better yet I can setup another two more rigs and dim the power down, lower the cobs closer to the buds and achieve greater efficiency in numbers of led cobs, and returning greater g/watt at the end of it all. Not to mention they remain efficient for over 3 years this way. After 3 years the standard for efficiency will be even higher and i will be here to watch listen and support the growth of this technology and others.
