Are we staying together just for the kids?

It seems to me that our political process, this two party system, is very similar to a failed marriage. Where two people who used to love each other now just act shitty out of spite. Everything they do is viewed through this lens of negativity built from years of resentment. After a while they cant do ANYTHING right.
Is there any hope of reconciliation?
Are there any moderate, reasonable people left?
Are our egos really that big?

If you think the two party system is bad, wait until you get a load of the one party system.

Picking a politician/ party come voting time is like devil's advocate for me. It usually comes down to who i disagree with less, rarely do i see eye to eye on all the issues. That is why i feel this two party system was over before it started. It is damn near impossible to fall inline on 100% of issues so why act like there canbonly ever be two sides to the argument??

Bring back the wig party!!! Lol
