I don't particularly like Obama. But when I communicate im coming from a place of fact, or at least what I consider to be as close to fact as I can reasonably verify(IE Google/Book/Experience).

The quotes you're using are from a spam email, and is grossly inaccurate.

Now there is fodder for your opposition, the tug of war continues tugging slightly in the direction of your forum foes, only to be returned sometime in the near future.

Its a never ending battle of tug of war, it keeps all of you focused on the ropes while shit is going down all around you.

Meaning if we're over there doing nothing but draining money into a sandpit for no reason at all, neutralizing no threat, I think soldiers should pay for everything they use. If we were fighting wars in the defense of the United States, then they should have everything they need supplied to them.

Its pretty simple, Im just saying since it doesn't benefit anyone but the soldier (lifelong benefits, new truck when he gets home, military training, military ass kissing, college tuition [i heard this is just a lie, for most soldiers]), the beneficiary should pay. If we fought these wars in defense of the United States, the United States would be the beneficiary and should pay.

Doesnt matter anyways, that shit never happened, it was a spam email.

Soldiers, sailors, airmen, and marines do what they're told. They don't make policy and they don't decide where and when they go to war. I don't give a shit if the e-mail was fake the fact that you said you support that................I can't even tell you how pissed that makes me. I am a combat vet. I would love somebody to tell me some shit like that to my face so I could smash it for them (and I'm not a violent person). Vets have never been taken care of the way they deserve by this govt. To tell them "Thanks for you service. Sorry about your blown off legs or your PTSD but you're on yer own." is assinine. These men and women have sacrificed more than you can ever imagine and now you say you support telling them to get fucked. You're a real peach! :finger:

Its unfortunate the ones with PTSD are losing their 2nd amendment rights. They also took an oath, with that oath I assume they read a constitution, but it is apparent that they do not. Yes, if they are getting their arms and legs blown off blindly following orders for a war that benefits nobody but banks and the soldier, they should be responsible for it. Yes I know vets continually get lied to by recruiter and the gov ends up shitcanning you, or leaving some of your boys over in Nam. Yeah none of it is pretty. The entire war isnt pretty, and since it doesn't benefit anyone and is a completely unconstitutional war (how about that oath) they can all pay for their poor choices and ignorance just like everyone else. People sacrifice all kinds of things for all kinds of fucked up causes. If they want to sacrifice themselves while they suck up money and fuck around in the desert doing nothing, they should feel free to do so as long as our fucked up country allows it, but at their own expense.

Get pissed all you want, pissed doesn't beat logic.

............so every war we've been in since WWII has been illegal? Not according to congress. And why hasn't the supreme court stepped in? I would think that there would be a little more uproar (other than from the left) don't you? Of course not. My mother used to tell me it was never a good idea to argue with idiots.............I think she was right.

You're always looking above for the answers, as trained. I don't know why. Tell me why noone seems to understand or 'step in' regarding the infringement of the 2nd amendment, to name the simplest example. Its very simple. The 90% mass pop, you, typically says some shit like "you dont want your neighbor defending his home with a bazooka". Luckily we can amend the constitution. But our domestic enemies of the constitution just charge right over it, and everyone in concert ignores it. If I was always looking up for the answers, I don't think id be able to see the clear cut problems that are so obvious, they are just a "turn off the TV" and r"ead something" away.

Ill take your moms advice. Now leave me alone unless you want to explain this oath problem. Above all, no more arguing. At least not with you.
