Anyhting that you like doing can become addictive, at least psychologically so. I've been hooked on weed, virtually non-stop for seven years. It doesn't stop me thinking or concentrating when I really need to. It helps calm my aggressive nature... I actually call it my medicine. I'm also quite sure that it helps tone down viruses... I've recently gotten over a virus; at first I didn't want to smoke... but after the first spliff, and initial wave of nausea i started feeling a lot better.
The cravings are all true except the aggression part, that's with me after only a few hours. Say about six, this will stay with me throughout the next day, where a simple thing like someone parking their car on the pavement (sidewalk) would cause me to break off a wing mirror while muttering that pavements are for pedestrians. The aggression is gone with me after three days. For me, it takes three days... I like to call them three days of hell.
