Ya I've seen a few old collections before. that's one thing about beans you can only grow out so many at a time ordering sometimes becomes an addiction in and of itself in the end up with drawers full of them then end up getting old too old to even grow. There's something to be said about grabbing what you can actually handle unless you grabbed it because you just want to have it in the drawer.
Are you getting the seeds your paying for or just garbage to get a few good freebies hopefully.

that's why you don't keep seeds in a drawer. airtight in cold storage and they will last for years

Top dawg didn't make those Karma did and from reports on IG from real deal growers that shit isn't worth the hype. They sold out long time ago.
Oh ok I had it mixed up . a few people sad top dawg had sour or close too it .and karma had headbanger that's been sold out for a while.im gonna get myself up to date and hopefully some where down the line I'll come across some one willing to part with or trade a few SD beans .stranger things have happened. Judging from how many good people I've already met on here and how many people on here love this the way I do or even more I think at some point I'll have to run into it from someone. That said if there's ever anything I post pics of that someone is interested in I'm a pretty generous guy if I have beans to give I will. Thanks again really appreciate all the help
Just got the monkey mints from JBC.they gave me a headbanger mix for a freebie.I mentioned you guys sent me there so I wonder if someone saw this thread or if I just got the headbanger by chance either way I'm thrilled.One thing that I did notice was on the site monkey mints are listed as grease monkey and cookies and cream.which I believe is straighter and girl Scouts.on the package however they say grease monkey and mint choc chip.either way I'm liking JBC so far they seem legit .Exactly the kind of no b's company I was looking for .so thanks again fellas for pointing me in the right direction.Ill post pics asap.If these turn out nice I'll be ordering again and again.

I'll say one thing for sure. If you guys put as much into your growth as you have to this one thread they must be out of this world. I'd like to have half the genetics that I seen never mind that 1/100 of what I've seen. All the monkey names for super healthy they germinated very quickly I should be potting them tomorrow. I'm definitely impressed so far with JBC seeds I have a feeling I'm going to be using them again very soon. I've been waiting for 4:20 to see if any but he's got any good deals maybe pick up some more good genetics. Thanks again light green and all the guys that chimed in I love the picture of Boss Hogg

I'm very happy with the quality thus far .
JBC is definitely getting higher in my rolladex.lol I'm going to take these all the way to bloom while picturing them at every stage that's important. if there's something special it'll be shown. I don't keep mothers. i clone from generation to generation . so it should be fairly quick to get the first batch to a finish date probably about 5 months. I also don't like too grow too big on the first run. that way if they hermaphrodite I have a better chance of noticing. Granted I've seen plants that didn't hermaphrodite on the first run but did on the second or third. I spent a lot of time growing saltwater coral which is quite amazing and shares a lot of traits . Of course it's all about limiting stress. I've never played my plants music. Thanks again guys. can't thank you enough for pointing me in a good direction and explaining how international seed banks are getting most of the seeds.
I'm re-reading a few books on organic gardening right now. Somas is one of them. Trying to put together a play book to grow organically from start to finish. I'd like to take a few plants 2 forwishen in this way. If anybody has any good tips I'm all ears. When I was 14 and I first started growing seriously I was using fish Emulsion and bone meal ,blood meal mostly in an outdoor setting. But it's been quite a few years since I've gone that road. The results were pretty good but the fish Emulsion stunk and when I went indoors I wanted to go with a medium like pro mix to keep bugs out and keep a sterile environment.My one big mistake was bringing plants from outside to dry inside .spider mites owned my ass.in later years I found a systemic pesticide that would eradicate them but all crops had to be thrown out and rooms sprayed fully .new genetics and even equipment brought in after a test plant was used to determine success.nasty business.i single handedly made whoever made pyrenthium bombs a rich man.i still wake up in a cold sweat sometimes.
I think Predator was made by someone dealing with spider mites.very similar situation. in both cases the humans got their asses handed to them the only diff was I didn't have a rail gun and plastique . or a crack team of special forces.it was more like a crack team of couch potatoes and burnouts and PlayStation was our weapon of choice. Damn you spilled the bong . the carpets going to stink.pause it pause it. what were we talking about.any pizza rolls.good old days .if only I could remember them .stay healthy everyone.wish you all the best.

Though I feel the respect and wonder I had for the older seedbanks is waning with time, I feel there's just too many strains, too many crosses, too much going on in the scene with new lines of everything. At times I wonder if it's all advertising and HOT NEW COOKIES STRAIN HERE!!! But then again, with the rising quality and general care, I think it's a decent trade off.

Thanks raging child.you seem like a kindred spirit.when I was about 20 I worked at Harvest moon which was the first hydro shop in my state.i was turned on to Dr Chronic by a customer who had g13 haze and NL mix from them that was amazing. I ordered G13 Haze I'm very happy with what I got I think the difference is that back then if you were a seed bank and you screwed people you weren't going to have a very good business because there wasn't that many of us out there 2 screw. You needed to keep your name good in order to have a thriving business. Now there's so many people that you can screw people over and over and over and still have someone new coming in every day. I'm thankful that you guys pointed me to some reputable places but I think some of the older places that used to be reputable or semi reputable have gone to pot excuse the pun
