That is interesting benton OG, is it common for people to grow it and smoke it there (SE USA)? Are there compassion clubs? Is your state talking legalization?

Yes it is common for people to smoke but not too many growing that I know of. There are no real clubs and I wish we were talking legalization but unfortunately I live in the Bible belt so we may be one of the last. One of our leaders have stepped up and spoke of the positive things MJ could do for SC but nothing in writing.

Here in south British Columbia, I heard that our area (Kootenays)is estimated to have the most grow ops in Canada, 20% of homes.
We have had an illegal compassion club operating downtown since the late 90's. (busted 3 times I am aware of)
50$ a quarter for top quality black market retail, you can buy a pound for under 1000$.
3 churches that I know of in the last 5 years that have become private dwellings.
Religion has lost it's teeth, and extremists of any denomination would get laughed out of town, except of coarse, the tiny polygamist colony in Creston.
People openly smoking a joint is a common sight here.
Police take it away and then send you driving away.
Police are known to trash a grow sight and not report it or arrest anybody.
I know of a person who was driving with 22 pounds and only lost her marihuana, driving away from the scene, no charges.
We personally notified the police and fire department that we are growing and no body has shown up, almost a year later now.
Tell me more about the marihuana...marijuana culture there.

Top notch, Triple AAA, Kush's, skunks, and others, tasty, smelly, and you only need a couple of pulls.
Buds that range from 1 to 2 inches in diameter, no tiny buds those sell for $800.oo or less per pound.
Everything is cured properly, and trimmed properly or they can't even sell it.
Outdoor (Very good quality) can sell for as low as $400.oo per pound. Only experienced smokers can even tell it is outdoor.
A large network of single moms who do all the trimming, earning 20-25$ per hour cash, under the table.
I remember back in the late 80's, there was a small bus with between 6-10 very pretty girls who would travel around here trimming indoor, for many different growers.
One of our community halls is used as a central base for trimming huge amounts of outdoor, right in the townhall (downtown), where others have held their wedding receptions and everybody goes to vote.
Our community has been "coming out" for a long time.
One of our local valleys is well known for vietnam draft dodgers who really started the art of the illegal grow and developed many of our most powerful strains.

It is illegal to have plants or MJ in your possession here. I haven't seen Mexican swag in years but your prices reminded me lol. Yes as far as I know the best bud I have smoked was straight from Cali. Head band, sour diesel and so on. Some has probably came from Tennessee because they produce the most besides California. Cant say I have ever had the BC bud. I tried to grow for a bit and joined here because I love this site. But I don't have much space and had to wait 3 months for a qtr bag. Fuck that!

I enjoyed the chat Benton OG, one thing I want to say to you is about the feeling of freedom that came with being 100% legal in the eyes of the law.
It wasn't something I was expecting, but found it very liberating.
If your ties to your community allow and your love of the herb is high, I personally would have moved, just for this feeling of freedom I got alone, if I could have and known.
We are not far from the border if you move North, lol, just sayin.

I have thought about moving but it's a very big step especially with a family of 6 like me. I really want to experience that freedom. MJ is a big part of my life and I see all the positives and benefits that come with it. I love mary jane! So maybe one day I will move.
