Area/state grower threads

Are these really that great of an idea? Being proud of being from a certain area is fine, but making a thread that groups all of you together isn't really the best thing. Whoever posted the thread probably isn't an informant/cop, but it promotes networking between people who may or may not be. You're just separating yourselves from the herd and making it that much easier to isolate you, making you that much more vulnerable.
If you're a medical grower, this really doesn't apply to you unless you're outside your limits.
Be careful, we would all love to believe that everyone out there is as honest as ourselves but they are not. Not only could it be used to figure out where you are, but you could also get your crop jacked by somebody who has figured out where you are.

I couldn't agree more. Unless you're a medical grower I wouldn't risk it. In my opinion, the risk just isn't worth the reward. Good post!

I don't consider myself to be an ultra-honest character, but I do know that I'm not a cop or a snitch.

I also know that I'm not stupid enough to go near any regional thread with a ten foot pole.

Right, but who is going to say that they are. Honest or not, it makes you easy to be preyed upon.
