I was working in Cocoa for about two years.... we did work at Nasa and patrick Air Force base. Saw amazing things. It got to be ridiculous though...Patrick has it's own launch pads and every couple of weeks.... a dang rocket would shoot off nearby.
I was lucky enough to see many launches up close as well as stealth bombers and F18's.....in the early morning.... 200 feet off flightline,.... in the fog..... 25 foot blue flame shooting out of those F-18' when they kicked up the initial thrust....very kewl.
I also got to see the very first night launch of the Shuttle. Lit up the whole town...
Okay, it's now at 11:00. Their window of opportunity ends at 12:00, but I think 11:00 will be the trick. the clouds are moving off, and the skies are clearing...at least at my acreage.
