ARGH! Just as i'm about to harvest

Hi all above is my hash bomb plant that is ready for harvest. It has been grown in a flo grow in pebbles using a 240w cfl and have used aqua pura water mineral water from the start.

I have flushed with pure aqua pura for the last week or so, and went to check on the levelph etc and there are tiny pin head sized white maggot type things. What are these little b'stards?

unfortunetly since you are so close to harvest there isnt alot that can be done, try putting down sticky traps or something similar. if you were still in veg i would say neem oil but not this close to harvest.

they are actually skimming on top of the water so fly traps won't help. They act like little sperm wriggling and swimming about. They wasn't there last week but are now, but im harvesting later so not too worried but want to know what they are in case i get them in my next grow

were they in the run of/trays and di they seem to jump to another part of the run of. like the vanished if u tried touching one

if so there spring tails n are qiute beneficial they eat up fungi/mold. but a mojor infestation can be a problem

oh good, harvesting later so no chanceof an infestation. Will just clean out my stuff thoroughly when i do my next grow. What causes them, and how do they get there in the first place
