i think i may have over fed one of my plants.. i have been watering them every other day. i fed them last week and forgot to go less food in the water like i always did. now around the buds are dry & some of the leaves are turning this awful brown color(not drying out) i cut all them off that where like that. its looks to be doing better but around the BUDS are dry & looks as if the buds are too. the plant had been through alot of stress the past 3 weeks, i piece of wood fell on it & split all the main colas, i had to cut one cola completly off & used bread ties to force them back together. that happened about 3 weeks ago & the colas are grown back together now! THANKS GOODNESS! i'll post pics tomorrow to show yall if that helps. i'm in the first week of flowering & the first 2 days i didnt have the plant thats dry directly under the HPS light for caution. i dont think it needs water cuz the soil isnt that dry....

any way to fix the dryness??, i have never used a PH tester or anything like that, i just went about it....:neutral::hump:

i will post first thing tomorrow, i forgot my damn camera at my girls house, anything you might suggest by what i explained, the temp is around 74-81f
i have 2 fans blowing near the plants, only one is dry like that though

I DID MIST THEM WIT WATER MIXED WITH NUTES. THATS WHAT SCREWED IT UP?? WILL IT BE OKAY???

I don't think you should spray your plants once they are flowering? I never do anyway, sounds like a mold/fungus disaster waiting to happen.

In regards to your "dryness" problem, It sounds like its from the nutes right? If that's the case, I don't think denying them light will help. If anything it might harm the plants recovery.

the way you are describing this situation of your leaves going an awful brown around a week after flowering, it sounds like a P def rather than nute burn etc, you NEED to post pics to hope for any accurate answer, pictures 100% accurately describe everything about ur grow that u left out, for example for all i know ur plants have 2 nodes and its just a P def that starts at the bottom working its way up, so its begun at ur buds

what is the reason for your watering every other day? do the plants need it every other day? are they lite and sucked up every other day or are you just watering them to water

Thank you all for the help! They stayed directly under the hps last night. Yesterday was the 3rd day 12/12
yes i am watering just to water. I will not any more. Its just hard to tell if they need water.....

I have 2 dp plants (1 is in good health/ the other not so good) i didnt want to put it directly under the hps the first 2 nights just incase the dryness would get worse.

I will post post pics asap! Keep in touch my friends!!

give dem babies something to eat,also that soil doesnt look very good u might want to transplant them into something like sunshine #4 or promix,just a thaught hope it helps :)

can i purchase that type soil in wal-mart/home depot/lowes?? There on there 5th day of flowering..its okay to transplant?

& about the dryness around the buds..will that get better??

whats dead is dead but any new growth should be ok if theres food to support it,that soil should be at lowes and homedepot im not sure about walmart in my area they dont have a good selection
and u are early enough in flower that it should be fine..good luck :)

im going to lowes tomorrow to get me some! should i go ahead & cut off all the dead nodes/budded area??
