Asked to run medical grow op - How much compensation?

Details:
2 seperate grow trailers with 1000W Volksgardens (80 site Omega Garden) in each. Clones and mothers at a third site. All sites completely covered by appropriate number of caregiver's paperwork. Everything run legitimate (it's all grey area, I understand). I will be completely responsible for the entire operation from cloning to harvest. I will have help with the trimming, but little else. I will not be living on site.

How much should I ask for? Straight salary? Salary + X percent of harvest? Just X percent of the harvest?

Dudes right,you are lucky "SOB".thats a mighty big dilemia.I would try to work out s'thing out w/people who are running it.You are are talking about a-lot of work dude and not to mention the risk.If busted(god forbid) will they pay for legel reprensentation???Are u willing to do time??These are all questions you must ask yourself.
If i were you (which i wish i was) I would attempt to figure out how many pounds you will prodoce in a certain amount of days or per harvest.and,ask for % of harvest

i would ask for salary + bud then i would take the money i made and try to set upu my own op and cut out the guys who are hiring you

actually i would probably try and work out a deal to keep the grow equip after and not get paid anything i know some people where i am now who have arrangement like that

From what I've seen, it seems to average about $80-100K/year. By way of comparison, the same setup ran and owned soley by me would pull in $120K+/year. I'm leaning towards salary + percent of the harvest. Does anyone have any real numbers for what medical growers (not vendors, paid weed cultivators) get paid?

I'm fully represented legally, no worries there. Everything will be above board as far as every agency is concerned except the DEA (taxes, permits, posting of caregiver paperwork, etc). It is also providing for legitimate medical users in cancer/AIDS hospices, so the compassion part is undeniable.

What do you guys think, is $1000/week + 10% of harvest fair? Is that enough? Too much? This will be a full time career for me, so factor in that I'm giving up insurance and vacations.

I'm not exactly sure what you; a Lucky SOB ,have gotten your self into but let me do some math really quick. You have two trailers with 1000 watts of light each. (I am assuming that MH and HPS for differant stages of growth will be provided" I can yeild about 2.75-3.5 LBS per 1000 watts every 90 days in a grow room so take 3 x 2 = 6lbs every 90 days times 4 harvest per year alowing no slack time = 24 lbs per year so that is you yield so all you have do is figure out how much you want to make. Yes, I know I'm very lucky. The opportunity to take my hobby and make it a career is exciting. The risks will always be there and as they say, "Don't do the crime..."

Anyhow, we'll be using the 80 site Volksgardens. I see you're approaching 1.5 GPW so I assume you're using a stadium, sog, or similar grow. I've seen reports of Omega grows reaching closer to 3.0 GPW, and with clones going into flowering as soon as rooted you get a harvest every 60 days (-ish, depending on strain). I'll have a mother room with 15-18 mothers cranking out the needed 80 clones every month.
Since we're running a semi-perpetual harvest, we'll be harvesting from one garden each month. If the facts on Omega yield are accurate, that would be 6 pounds a harvest, 12 harvests a year = 72lbs. Even if we only can pull 1.5 GPW (as you are attaining) we would be harvesting 3 lbs/month. So with a total of approx 2500W, I'm looking at 36lbs/year minimum up to potentially 72lbs/year. (I realize there is a 6-12 month "dialing in" period where results won't be so robust). His vendors currently charge him $3k-5k/lb. That math puts the op's value between $108k and $300k annually.

Lot's of option's, what sounds fair?
$1000/wk + 15%
$1500/wk + (25% of any amount over 3lbs/harvest)

I really don't know, I just know there's an enormous amount of time that will be invested into this. Anyone with experience in the subject? Any businessmen out there who can imagine what a co-op owner would be willing to pay, or how much an investor would be expecting in returns?

Ive heard of co ops payind 3k-5k (or slightly more) but that is if just just bring in a pound to vend to them.. Ive never known anyone that was actually contracted with the co op. I don't know how that would work bacause you don't know exactly how much you would yeild.. Ask for the most you think is fair and talk to them..
