I had to buy Blackberrys again because someone told me to use Leaves for mulch.
Killed almost all my Blackberrys.
But I found a place high $$ on plants but have a good start in Pots.
Because I have problems bending over I'm doing a bunch of elevated Beds. Use PVC with drilled holes for water coming from a rain catch barrel. Using Square Foot Gardening to mostly with Heirloom Seed.
Got a regular Garden plant Tomatoes and Okra in it and some flowers for Bugs.
Already have several Berries and such planted in the yard.

Hey bud… I don’t know if this would work for you, but we use these to grow veggies..they’re just cattle feed troughs that you can get at any farm/home store. Great on the back and easy to weed, and rabbits don’t get up there. Just drill some more drain holes …$149 each.

Basically doing what I want and probably be easier that what I have in mind.
I have some plastic barrels I'm going cut in half, build a frame and set them in it.

Those look like pretty good planters. I looked around here and found the ten foot ones at the Coastal Farm Supply out here but they're $229.

Lol, I think you can see where cheap land in CO is from the cheap land in NM, all with a view of mt Blanca. Southern CO is full of dirt cheap 5 acre plots for 5k each or something crazy cheap. It's down around the great sand dunes national park, and there is a town within like 20-30 minutes normally. That's about it though. Once or twice a year I get all hopped up on the idea of buying a few and putting in a go kart track or something and a shack.
Maybe just grow a bunch of peyote...its land that to me seems worthless beyond just being open space as you can't really farm it and it isn't worth developing. Don't think I would be too interested in putting a weekend cabin or anything out there, you could maybe do a funky air bnb as the hotels aren't great in the area.

Our 20 acres was in the rocky Ozarks.
Bought 3 1/2 acres with house, apartment, two car garage, shop and couple other buildings for $40,000.
Was talking with a guy about North Carolina. He said think about it this way other states say you can't, Missouri says we don't care go for it.
