At&t and the iphone :(

Ok so i know the iphone is a great easy to use phone and what not but im getting tired of seeing it. I have at&t and i am in the market for a new phone. I do not like apple at all and refuse to buy an iphone, especially since its been out for so long and something better has to be coming. So now verizon is releasing the droid( Milestone) which is supposed to compete with the iphone. I am not willing to switch to verizon just for a phone. And i hear that getting an unlocked droid will not work out too well for various reasons. So i am wondering if anyone knows if at&t plans to release any new phones besides another modified iphone? I mean come on at&t, you had the iphone, then the iphone 3g and now the iphone 3g S. Cant they make something new? Sure there are great things about the iphone but when theres something great you can always make it better, hence the droid. So any news on some at&t phones coming out that are touchscreen and have apps, and maybe are open source. Or should i suck it up and switch to verizon? i refuse to suck it up and support apple. I feel like im the only person who has a problem with apple and the iphone craze. Im a computer techy guy and the iphone is far from a techy phone. It was made for mainstream users who want an easy phone to use with lots of neato things.

I JUST switched like 3 days ago from an iPhone.

I fucking hated my iPhone it would fuck all this shit up and Apple being the bitch ass corporation they are try to milk the shit out of you for money. And then AT&T totally sucks balls, I didn't even realize how many balls AT&T sucks until I got verizon.

In classes where i would get NO SERVICE with my iPhone & AT&T I now get FULL bars with Verizon!

And the 3G is so fucking fast it's incredible... i load up 5 minute YouTube videos in like 20 seconds!

Switch to Verizon, get the droid. It's everything youd want in a phone and a network. Plus, 5MP camera and twice the resolution of the iPhone! The colors are sick too!

o really? cool, yea i havent had anything but att so i dont know what im missing or not missing. How much does a plan cost for a single person with like full internet and texting for verizon? like what 80 bucks a month?

I still love my iPhone

The iPhone with At&t is suck but nothing beats the iPod or remote computer access capabilities it has. The internet on the iPhone is quite impressive too and it's going to be untouchable when they impliment Flash Player.
