Bill speaks the truth, he puts those who want "Nothing" for everybody on the spot and most can't take it. Not going to get into if he's good or bad that's a war that will not end.

My Christmas gift from each atheist is a good ol` Happy Holiday... Hmm... Sits fine with me... but if only they knew what it meant... Holy Day? What would be so Holy to an atheist? A sock?

Take it easy, share the luv, game over. :joint: :peace:

I am so glad I am not alone. I don't know what to call myself. I was raised presbyterian, went to church and sunday school and sang in the choir until I was around 11 or 12. I just really started to question things that were being said. I don't not go to church or really believe that way anymore. Do you call me antheist or what? I love christmas time and par take in all festivities. It is very confusing if you ask me.:peace:

Im an atheist myself and winter and Christmas are my favorite times for similar reasons.I love winter and snow, hate sun and beaches so its just a great time of year to be thankful.Like you said no need for gods, and religion to be discussed this time of year though since its a holiday that breaks most of the commandments so not sure why christins get into it lol...mmmm glutanyyy

Christmas has lost its religious undertones anyways. It's all about what you can get. So, I feel Christmas is for everybody. Besides, Jesus most likely wasn't born in December, anyways. He was a summer baby.:blsmoke:

Great call, that's all spot on. and also the guy who crucified Santa in his front lawn is right about the commercialization of Christmas. It's nice to see people shopping and happy, but since Rudolf was created... It's been down hill. He should be on the cross next to him. Who's down??

Man protests commercialized Christmas by crucifying Santa - literally

Real Christians understand that Christmas is the celebrated anniversary, of the birth, of Jesus Christ.

Real Christians wish well for all others. Even those of other faiths. Even those of little faith. Even those of no faith.

Merry Christmas, to all of you. Especially, ye, of little or no faith.

Happy Holidays is an alliteration, and rolls off the tongue nicely. I'm a Christian and I have no grudge against people using "Happy Holidays" rather than "Merry Christmas". I know that my holiday is included in that happy summarization. I like including everyone in my Christmas Spirit by using open terms and phrases.
Suits me just fine.
