Attack of the Mutant Clones!!!!

About three weeks ago I bought some really really sad clones from a dispensary (2 Sadhu, 1 Colorado Cough). They were stressed, stunted and nutrient burned when I picked them up. I never would have bought them except they required me to pre-pay and pick up another day. Anyway....

I put them in my CFL Bubbleponic clone nursery that gets diffused Metal Halide light in a very low ppm nutrient solution and now they look MUCH MUCH happier and healthier. PLenty of new foliage and roots.

But here's the twist: The Cough grew a side branch with 3-leaved shade leaves. Weird! And now its main shoot looks like it is going to mutate too. It is also alternating nodes already (i think thats what its called, its zig-zaggy) so my guess is that this clone was taken from a very old, very stressed and over-cloned mother.

Aside from the mutation, she seems quite healthhy and happy. Will she still produce buds? Is this plant still worth its square foot of garden space?

thanks all~

Alternating nodes doesn't necessarily mean the mother was old and cloned to death.
I have clones like that at the moment and my mother plant was only 2 months old when I cut them.
It just means they are sexually mature which can happen after 6 weeks.
Bad news about making you pay before seeing what state they were in, but it sounds like you are on the right track and they should produce good buds still, as long as you treat them right.:peace:
