Growing up in the 80s & 90s in North Denver, there were no skate parks. I mean there were lots of places to skate, but nowhere that we were welcome. It is the reason they took out Skyline Park downtown the old water feature they used to have there. The park was full of punks & skaters. The cops would come chase us away all the time. Now they are everywhere. They used to look down on us as skaters back in the day now its all good. My board was a Powell Peralta Bones, indy trucks and red slime ball wheels.
