Ill admit it. I have been out of the gaming loop for quite some time. Last system I had was a PS2. And my last Fav game was Grand Turismo 3 (i think)

If I have 3 bills to plunk down is the Slim PS3 160 gb Killzone 3 bundle my best bet?

I was thinking about the Wii or the move or whatever the fuck it is, but I dont plan on getting up and jumping around my living room.

Is this the best bang for the buck or what?
 
i too havent gamed since ps2 and gran turismo and a few others were my favs too. I bought a wii and a few games and while its good "family" fun, and a good time here and there, i kinda wish i had invested in a ps3 myself.
 
That actually seems like a good deal.Im still thinking about buying a new one so I might grab that.
 
I played the new gran turismo at game stop and thats gotta be the worst racing game I ever played.It had good graphics but the controls sucked.
 
I was looking at Game Stop but I figured with Walmarts awesome return policy, why would I fuck with GameStop.

And from what Ive been reading, it seems as if Sony has a set price with its distributers. So pretty much 300 dollars is what your gonna pay for a 160 GB PS3.

And I'm not even considering E-bay or Craigslist--god knows what kind of stolen broke bull shit you'll end up with.



Oh, and I also read that you can DL some free games once you buy the PS3.
 
And it doesn't even come with that punk ass gun you see in the commercials, does it?

So i suppose thats another 40 bucks.




Is there a cheaper way just to game from my laptop?
 
I dont think any of the free games are any good should just buy the ps3 and save for decent games its worthwhile.
 
I saved... A LOT of money by buying a gaming PC.

Instead of reading shitty ass reviews by people being paid, or biased cunts. I can torrent the damn game for free and find out if its good. And if it is, I buy it. 90% of games out there suck and have at most 4 hours of gameplay in them, for 60-80 dollars? Suck my dick industry, that's all I have to say.

Wait. So you play games on your PC? Do they sell controllers or what? Because I tried playing games pressing A,S and the space bar and the arrow keys. And I just cant get into that shit.

I'm all about saving money so if I can avoid paying 3 bills just for video games I'm with it.

But I still like to get down and play some video games. And while I'm baked sometimes I get sick of looking at my laptop screen. Id rather kickback and look at my TV.
 
Its cheaper in the long run, a gaming rig will cost you two thousand dollars.

But if you look at it my way.
10 ps3 games can net you 700-800 dollars. not counting the gaming system it self?
Then the ps3 generation ends and your stuck with some piece of shit, if you have a gaming rig that shit will last you for YEARS. And if you have low morals, can not cost you a penny more than what you paid for it.

Yeah man I play games on my PC, I got it hooked up to a big ass flat screen TV, got an xbox and ps3 controller that I can hook up to it, fucking lay the fuck back blazed playing games. Its great, best shit ever man.

Yea man, I agree with this, If i can get games for my PC i go for that, I have a PS3 also which has just turned into a movie machine to transfer my Downloaded movies to and watch em on TV lol. But if you are a Console gamer then ya I'd go with that bundle, seems like a hell of a deal since i bought my 120g for 299 by itself 2 years ago. Killzone 3 is even a decent game. The free download games are stupid games like SK306 said. So don't bank yer decision on that aspect.

Also for computers, You don't need 2grand like Diz said. I built my PC a year ago for about 900 and that was with windows 7 and everything has ran as Smooth as a hot knife through butter so far. You don't need the best of the best because even the new games today aren't using what was best of the best gear from 5 years ago lol.

Now I remember why I didn't buy jack shit last time i was at the store.



I remember the fucker at best buy telling me the lap top i wanted was an old piece of shit,hmmmn, funny its the same laptop ive been using for 2 years no problems.
 
Get that bundle if you want a gaming system bro, fo sho. It's a hella good deal. Just remember, games are 60 bucks brand new, 20-40 bucks used, the good games anyways. So 3 bills will get ya started fo sho. Now a good way to go i found is that Gamefly kinda like netflix. Its an awesome way to go if you can handle one game at a time.

Fo sho, Lotta people are console gamers and can't stand PC gaming and vice versa. But since you don't really play video games that much, PS3 is prolly the way to go
