Hello RIU, myself and a really awesome drummer recently started a new band. A little about us: we've both played in relatively successful bands in the past, toured the US and the world (including warped tour, which I think is kinda lame now), lots of recording experience. We started this new project because our previous bands were not EXACTLY what we wanted to be playing, but this new project is our passion. I play guitar and write all the songs, including the drums. We are heavily influenced by Propagandhi, and if you're interested you must at least be familiar with them. We are progressive thinking, laid back individuals with no real sense of fashion. We've been searching for a little while for other musicians through sites like craigslist, but we have not found what we're looking for so I thought might as well give RIU a shot, I know there are tons of cool people on here. We are looking for a second guitar player and a bass player. If you can sing too, that would be awesome. I will take on singing duties for the time being unless we really like your voice. The following samples include everything EXCEPT vocals, we haven't got around to record them yet. We currently have 25 songs complete and recorded, if you are interested and we meet you and you're a good fit, we will give you the links to the rest of the downloads 
We are located in the Los Angeles area and we have our own practice space. As soon as we get the rest of the pieces to get this started, I guarantee you we WILL be successful. We have many friends who works at studios, record labels, other successful bands, etc etc...So, enough talk and here are the samples to a few of our songs. The last one is not really what we normally play, but I was in the mood to write a little "metal" song with weird ass time signatures. Oh, and ideally we are looking for individuals between 25 and 35 years old, but of course if you have the skill exceptions will be made
