Losing their voice, growing a gut, out of stamina and testosterone and inspiration...
trying to perform songs they did in their 20's at their physical, drug-fueled peak .

rehab would have to absolutely suck balls. Yep, forgot about Amy, guess its been too long plus she never really impressed me that much. No disrespect meant but you know, different strokes for different folks.
Same here, plus mom made me watch those damn scared straight movies. I was frickin terrified to touch anything. Didn't touch pot until I was nearly 18 and only did that because it was some homegrown my ex had. I'm about to try mushrooms for the first time here in the next couple months. I'm really looking forward to that, for the spiritual side of it. My man said never do mushrooms to get high or you miss the point and could end up having a really bad experience.

A fun psychedelic is LSD... Shrooms are sacred and should be revered.
However, I've seen people take them and go to "cartoon land". That never happened to me, though. It's always a deep spiritual journey, usually planted on a couch. In fact, it reminds me of death, literally, and that's not a bad thing, either. If you ever read the Don Juan trilogy that might make more sense.
