Attic grow attempt ~ How does heat affect the sexes of Marijuana? (90-100 degrees)

I'm currently setting up a grow in an attic and the temperatures are pretty hot, they feel to be at least 90 degrees, maybe even 100 in some parts, but I setup a fan near the lights and the area where I'm growing at in the attic is probably 85-95 degrees, what are the chances I will get a male or a female and how will it affect my growth? I need a little insight, thanks.

I read a thread that said sex is actually determined a couple weeks before flowering, for regular seeds. It depends on a few things. As for temp, it said females prefer it cooler. How true this is, i don't really know. 85-95 is hella hot anyway. Is there nowhere else you can grow? A closet?

Ha I kinda figured that. I have no where else in my house except the attic really, too many people wandering around the house and moving shit. The only place no one ever goes is the attic, everyone is too damn claustrophobic in this house, idk why.

Well, where I live the temps pretty much stay in the 90's day,,, hi 70's-lo 80's nite.
Outdoor plants seem to like it.
Now in flower, that maybe a different story I don't know.
Mine tend to stay right at 76-78. But the intake is A-C ed. Whole house AC.

It can work but your definably gong to need an a/c (10000 BTU) and massive air ventilation from the outside or from a cooler room of the house, especially if you are going to use HID(s). Also building a small tent up there will help keep the temps more controllable. If your not going to be able to get a a/c up there I wouldn't even attempt it unless you are going to use CFL's. If your temps are 90-100 now when you add CFL's..probably around 105 and with HID its going to be around 115. Too hot temps will cause fluffy airy flowers. Good luck

With lights and summer heat you could easily reach 125 -130 degrees in a attic. Attics are the hardest place to grow because of the heat. This sounds like a big money sink for little or no return. You will not even be able to go into the attic during the day to tend your plants because of the heat.

I been in my attic on the hottest part of the days many times and it hits only about 100 max, I'm gunna put a thermometer up there tomorrow to check the temp on the hottest part of the day as a measurement.
