First of all i'll like to say that it is true what they say about attitudes delivery of seeds. It is absolutly the shit fast and safe shipping as everyone who purchased from them may have experienced, but enough of the small talk. My beans arrived on monday and went straight into germinating straight from the envelope. Its been 7 days now and when i open the side of the rapid rooter to check progress i only see that the seeds only opened but no sprout. So my ? Is / is there a certain way that you have to germinate the seeds .... Also i know it not attitudes fault it is the breeders but i also know that if u operate on a major scale as they do then u should rotate your stock or use better seeds because the seeds were small and didnt look mature.

And ive notice that if you say anything bad about attitude seeds then everyone has native things to say to you. But if u do then there is no need to reply im just trying to learn more about how i can get them to germinate .

i personally do the following.

1.Pre soak the seed in ph6 water for 6hours.
2.Prepare my medium (coco) by flushing it and pre loading it with an EC0.3 of Formulex with Trichoderma fungi mixed in and filliing my party cup style pots with the coco
3.After the 6hours i make a small hole in the centre of the medium and drop a pinch of Mychorhizal fungi inside and then pop my seed in.
4.I then water it in a little and either place a small humidity dome over the top or place the pots in my propagator.
5.I place the pots/prop under a 200w ECO CFL 6400K on an 18/6 schedule and wait.

I currently have 3 seeds germinating in the coco as i type this. 2 of those seeds where what i would class a big seeds. They were nirvana PPP and DNA Sour cream i also have what i would describe as a small seed. WHITE LABEL WHITE ICE.

I am waiting at present for them to pop ground but what i can tell you is that first out of the starting blocks was the DNA sour cream.

So far i havent had a problem germinating any seeds from Attitude but do bare in mind that if you choose single seeds as an order then the chances are the Average Joe has had to split open a breeders pack and pick you a seed. Now from my experience they arent going to fish through the entire breeders pack looking for a viable seed just for you. You are completely in their hands as far as that one goes.

If you have any germination issues and cannot get a seed to germinate attitude cannot replace your seed due to the fact that in the UK it is illegal to germinate MJ seeds. However if you approach the breeder then they maybe able to help you.

germinating is not hard.

you can throw them directly in the soil. you can soak them in water. i put em in straight up tap water until i see a bit of taproot.

then throw it in soil and a week or two later it comes out the ground. i once had one take 17 days after i put them in soil for them to sprout. i had given up and actually started another one. 17 days!! probably cuz i put them too deep in the pot..... anyways, germinating should be the easy part.

Wow.

My DNA sour cream is the first to show its head above the coco. I will keep an eye on it but all appears fine with it so far. BUT i do live in the UK so my seeds dont have to fly etc to get to me. Not that it should make any difference.

If it were me i would contact DNA genetics and see what they say. You never know you could end up with some freebie's.

Have you ever germinated seeds before? I'm guessing that you inserted them too deep into the plugs.

Wow man, they must've been screwed up. Do you remember what the name of the seedbank was, that Attitude got them from? I'm avoiding that brand, for sure, because if you've been growing for 7 years, I certainly wouldn't think the fault was your's.

Edit: I just went back and read that three strains were involved. Not to sound like a dick, but, I'm suspecting that the error was on your end. :) Can you think of anything that could been different than before, when you were having successful germinations?

^That's irritating, isn't it, when you can't figure out the problem? Earlier this year, I had my cloning times go from 7 days(average) to 14 days, all the sudden, and it bugged the shit outta me.lol I never really did figure out what it was. I'm assuming it was from the temps being a little too high(upper 80's), even though it was only a few degess higher than my norm.(about 78-83*) Anyway,...I hope you get this all straightened out, very soon. :)
