If you had to smoke bowl after bowl after bowl im feeling like it's more likely a grower problem than a breeder problem... Quality grown herb will do the trick no matter who it's from a vast majority of the time.. it's not like he's actively breeding out potency..i ran agent o and although i wasn't highly impressed it was quality stuff.. Now since we are on the subject i have one giant complaint about tga WTF HAS BEEN GOING ON WITH THEIR PRICES!!! each new round of beans adds 20 to 40 bucks from the last round!
eh the guys a good enough grower. Shit doesn't look like it's harvested early. You telling me you've never had a bag herb that can only get you so far? Back in the day my friends and I could easily go through a half in a day of mexi brick, and never get to the point we can now off some good herb. ETA man did we love when a friend so of a friend would get his weekly shipments in from Cali (hated the $60 an eighth) . Thank you Fedex!

Thanks wchales, good to know. Been thinking of running more classic strains to see how they compare to the modern polyhybrid explosion of today's market (not that it's necessarily bad).

I've heard various stories, but it is a dramatic increase on new releases. $20 for a reg bean is a definite "no, thanks".

The older strains remain unchanged, and there are still several of those I'd like to run [Jack Skellington, Apollo 13, 3D, Qrazy Train] and will need to restock the cupboard of chernobyl probably in the fall.

Yeah, still torn on the whole TGA deal. Eventually I'l probably wind up with Chernobyl and Jillybean growing, but not anytime this year, likely.

3 Jillys I ran were great yielders, great flavors, but a B+ to B- potency. If I were into making se-eds, I think a cross of Jilly Bean and Timewreck could be superb.

If you haven't made the purchase, wait a couple months and let me find out about Ace of Spades; the clones look terrific. Mom was flowered right after taking clones, and will have about a zip to sample. A lot of good reports on RIU, and the strain used in the Mainline thread. The top and bottom right are Ace of Spades clones 3 1/2 weeks after roots.

Awesome! Yeah, I'm in no big hurry to make the TGA order anytime soon...I loaded my card with MORE money...I guess I couldn't stick to just one pack this round. Two more bodhi packs gonna get ordered tonight, I think...maybe.

Things change stoned outta my head at 3 AM waiting to make a seed order at 4am...

Give TGA a go Meta. You mentioned that you like fruity strains....you will love their menu then. I've had Cheesequake in my garden for years because it tastes and smells delicious. It's a nice buzz too. Nothing over powering, but as Amos pointed out to me a while ago not every jar in your cupboard has to light your hair on fire. I grew Jillybean as well, which was a notch below the CQ, but smelled excellent.

I have no plans to buy any more TGA, but it's certainly not because I think the gear is garbage, or that Im worried about hermies

Amos, you have me intrigued with the timewreck. I actually ordered 4 TGA strains and passed on it this time... I got jilly, AOS, jesus og, vortex, and 2 free packs of space candy. It is so hard to decide at times! I am going to try timewreck one day.

Where did you find Ace of Spades? I'm sending a money order out tomorrow to get the only 2 packs I was able to find.

I caught some grief from amigos when I quit running Timewreck. I just had several jars and wanted to move on to more adventures.

I ordered the same DAY that space candy became a freebee. It was a hard choice because cheese quake and plushberry was in stock. I have not opened the pack of AOS yet! I will be sure to take extra care with them!
Is it true that AOS will not be around? I heard this with agent orange and something else, but they always came back in stock.

Thanks for directing me here Amos. I am currently running Ace of Spades, this is my first 'pheno hunt' but I will try to shed some light on the strain and perhaps the breeder. Prior to this run I've only grown out bag seed. With that said, they are confirmed Mr. Nice Guy (g13 x HP), SSH, and an OG. That may sound amateur but these are some beautiful plants I've been running for over 20 generations each, potent as shit, and all pretty unique from eachother. I figured the money was better spent on my setup vs genetics as long as I had dank in the garden.

I finally decided to get some genetics, AOS was among the few TGA strains that appealed to me, when I saw it available one night I pulled the trigger on a 5 pack, and a pick & mix querkle to up the price for some freebies. I am not a tga fanboy, I've never seen this weed nerd everyone speaks of, and in all honesty I bought these because none of the Bodhi strains I had my eye on were available (picked up lucky charms and goji the following week..). I know nothing other than subcool's super soil and a few other tutorials, which served as my introduction into the world of organics, and for that I am appreciative. Asshole/self-promoter or not, taking the time to show others an alternative to synthetics is a noble deed in my eyes, so I'll never regret supporting him by giving his genetics a run.

All 6 were germed and sprouted within 72 hours. They were all beautiful, and had great vigor. Vegged them untopped until they showed sex, 6/6 females, each about 12" tall, all pretty similar, some slightly bushier then others. Transplanted into 10 gal smart pots, consisting of my own amended soil mix, and switched to flower. Now about 3weeks-1 month in, I've got one just under 3' tall which is the bushiest (I assume to be the BCS leaner, smells fruity as well), 3 between 3'-4' that seem to be mixes of both parents, and 1 that is a 4' totem pole which I can only assume is a JTR leaner smelling piney as shit, feels like it stings the nostrils. All of them are nugging up like crazy, massive white hair production. I'm quite excited to see what the next few weeks bring for these girls. I have had no issues with these girls as far as deficiencies, but IMO thats organics.. Before flipping to flower, 2 clones were taken from each and all rooted without issues, this time all have been topped for further experimentation. The only weird thing I've observed, which may be normal for some strains/polys, are some 'mutant' leaves. I counted as many as 13 blades on a few leaves growing on top of eachother. I don't see that being a problem, just something to note.

All in all this strain has been a pleasure to grow thus far, all seem to be quite healthy, they clone with ease, and the variance between each plant has certainly kept my interest. I've taken pictures along the way so maybe ill make my first journal when they finish up.
