All these marijuana plants in the hands of police tonight after a flyover over helped spot them.
It's called Hemp Ratification, helicopter flyovers by several police agencies to weed out drug operations.
Police recently found a bunch of marijuana growing on three properties in Lake County.
The sheriff's department, along with state police and other agencies use trained spotters in the air and officers on the ground to go in and check the areas.
The sheriff says they found more than 150 plants at three locations.
Phillip Straub, Steve Allen and Edward Fitzgerald were all arrested for growing the marijuana.
"Marijuana is illegal. It is an illegal drug and were not going to stop. It is part of the war on drugs and were going to fight it," said Lake County Sheriff Bob Hilts.
All three are charged with delivery and manufacturing of marijuana.
