I used to fuck around alot with soil combos. I've been very happy with using coir-fibre for the last couple of years. But if it helps I used to use:
20% perlite mix
20% worm-castings
60% Coir-fibre

Plus-side after about 3 grows I toss the coir into my wormfarm and re-use it once the worms have done their business. Worms love the fibre.

Some pics from a previous batch....I started topping after this batch and built a new grow room.
Your plants are very nice... But I will post this little piece of info I found on the Harvesting and Curing Thread that I think you might find interesting for next grow...

I am about to harvest myself, in about a week so I am going to heed this advice also...

Welcome UM

Laceygirl...

Drying is the most key part of the whole smell and flavor department,
not flush.

Smell and flavor are related to the chloraphyl in the plant matter, while
the harshness, and burning of the throat and lungs is described when
smoking herb which hasn't been flushed properly.

You need to allow all of the chloraphyl to release while drying, but the problem
is that chloraphyl is only released and a certain rate, which is much slower
than water is allowed to release, you must allow adequate time to dry, and
the humidity needs to be around 35-45%, this allows the buds to stay moist
long enough to allow the chloraphyl to escape. It should take around 8 days
for the stem between the buds to be dry enough to snap when bent.

Tips:
Do not cut up individual branches when harvesting and hanging, this
allows the moisture to escape too quickly!

Do not trim the buds of their leaves before they are completely dried,
this also allows moisture to escape. Also this is KEY for the curing process,
a properly dried bud will smell MAGNIFICENT right after it is done being
trimmed. Trimming allows the terpenes to really expose themselves and
this causes excess moisture within the leaves and buds to allow the bud
to "sweat" and this is needs to happen right before the buds are jarred,
if you do this before you dry them, what happens to the terpenes? They are
released in to the air and dissipate, you need to do this before you jar them
and then the buds sit and bask in their own dankness..... This is how the
curing process begins.

God damn i wish there was 1 set of rules for harvesting, theres so many conflicting techniques.I've read & been told to manicure before hanging coz its a pain in the ass to do when the leaves are all wilted and hanging over the buds.

I might try a couple different methods the plants are a couple weeks apart anyway so that could work out.

Has anyone had problems with scale before? Everything was sweet till they started flowering and now bam! scale and fukin spidermites!! Had to give em a spray which i dont like this late (bout 1 month flower give or take a week).

you given em some neem? brilliant shit

i personally keep a lot of the little sticky leaves on, but get rid of the larger ones i dont want to keep on the bud before i hang em - do that for anywhere up to a week depending on the stuff then jar it, lid on lid off lid on lid off til it's right. i think it comes down to personal preference and what results we all experience

i'm bakin up again lol making another one of those baked new york cheese cake for a barbie with friends tomorrow, and i'm making fudge for a friend who is popping by tonight - also doing portugese and moroccon chicken skewers, yum!! it's bangin warm today!

mmmmmmmmm. i cant wait.
i am going to do some baking tonight. i am making some double choc and triple choc muffins. i was thinking of adding some of the bud from my failed first attempt. it still gets you pretty ripped even though it was 4 weeks young. should be fun.

I watched Cannabiz last night, a Canadian documentary on the history and future of pot in Canada, and the medical users receive their shit from the growers via Canadian post. Not fair.

8e, you going to turn the bud to butter first? Or just all in?
