You’d have a lot better idea of the way LED spreads its light .Cabinet grows and LED are all new to me so I’ll be interested to see what you come up with. I like the way your planning it all though I think your on the right track

I'm not unimpressed with leds. But, I feel like I could be utilizing that cab better. Was a good first run with it to have gotten that scrog going. But seeing how well that went has made me want to see what else I can do to push the bar (personally).

Only reason I've stuck with leds is because I didn't think I could get away with the heat of a hps.

Speaking of HID lights. I was tempted by the 315LECs at one stage. Still kinda am tbh. But for that. I'd probably have to chuck it in a far larger confine. Possibly a 3x3 or whatever they cover.

Yeah they are a nice light not as hot as HPS or MH but still pretty warm. I think a 3 x3 would be about the footprint I’d go for with one

Yeah it was up there with the strongest weed I’ve ever smoked,it would hit hard straight away and then hit you again a little bit later definitely easy to over indulge.

If I do go that vscrog route. I think I'd do two plants in there. Two because it cuts down on time to veg. I don't really want to be spending 6 months vegging one plant. Unless I pick say a C99 cross as suggested ages ago.

Here's the little spot I've made for the outdoor plants. They get morning sun, shade at the hottest part of the day and a good chunk of afternoon sun as well. Also they're pretty well invisible from all angles which is a really important thing for me to consider.

from the top:
the shitty auto (Auto Pounder is the strain name, I'll rename it auto Fitty as I reckon I'll get about a fitty off it - hopefully it exceeds that expectation though)
Skywalker x NL (think this one will be a lady but time will tell),
Skywalker x NL (pretty sure its a boy - copped a beating in a storm last week so I gave it a really aggressive topping as it was pretty damaged. Was tall and lanky with a big fat stem before it got smashed up),
PK x Malawi (narrower leaf pheno - undecided on whether or not its male),
PK x Malawi (wider leaf pheno, pretty much certain its a boy)

All are in 30 (ish) litre pots and except for the auto have been topped. Any ladies are going to get tipped for the next couple of months and tied down as I cant let them get too tall.

Not too fussed on the male:female ratio for these ones, I'll be dropping a couple fems in the next few days and I have the c99s in the tent inside so I'm covered for the moment. Need some pollen for a couple chucks so I'll be happy with whatever I get.

lol join the "grow weed in whatever you can" club. My missus is pretty cool with it luckily. If I didnt have a hobby I'd drive her nuts or do stuff thats even less acceptable so as long as I keep the plant count under about the 10 mark she's sweet. She likes a good smoke too which helps

She likes finding one strain I grow she can smoke all yr round
I ran outta room with 3 outside last yr so only have 2 home but coop in two other plots
Hell I used to be happy with a lb over two plants now im a better grower I like to have 2-3lb personal that would entail minimum 5 different strains
Its not greed its like I want the best weed for personal ;)

Thats not greed at all. I'll be growing smaller plants more often from here on out to keep the turnover consistent. Its all personal but its night and day having nice homegrown compared to whats available around here. Theres one bloke locally who grows some really nice gear who I swap an oz here and there with but other than that its all rubbish so I'd rather not bother with it.

Agreed im pretty sure after reading somthing the weed i was buying was grown with pgrs it was pretty dense had a lot of reed hairs and smelt like hay it hat so little fros that when id get somthing frosty id think it was mouldy until i inspected it with a scope
