Just completely trimmed the plant that had started going hermie....wasn't as bad as first thought.:lol:

Discarded all the hermie buds and nearly 3/4 of the plant was free of hermie. Yay.

Rolled a Doobie with all the sticky scissor residue and now I'm kicking back watching the IPL...lucky I had a siesta this arvo.

From casual inspection I may have gotten a oz or so from this plant. If this hashish joint is anything to go by...:eyesmoke: hehe.

wots with this work shit, hasnt somebody got the world fooled that working ur cunt out and then dying is the way it HAS to go down.. theres better ways to make money, but if u grow ur own food and make ur own soap u dont even have to make $$..
my brother informed me the other day that dr phill bought up that having to work is in the bible, and if u dont work u wont be saved,..

im a massive anti-work guy, dont do it

they probably added that bit about working as an afterthought, there's no point in telling people to give ten percent of your wage to the church if people aren't working

i wasn't built for 9-5 but i currently dont have any other options. i will tho lol but for now it keeps the roof over our heads

i found this cool site that does catering supplies, as far as i can tell their buckets with lids seem perfect for a dwc attempt and it's only 7 bucks for a ten litre bucket with lid

Summer is fucking over.... Why are the temps still near the 30's.... I am struggling with my big tent, its 36.7 degrees even with the air conditioner... I am experimenting with how to get it down...

But I can't believe I am saying bring on the cold weather....

Yeah, what's happened to Autumn? Global warming...? Nope, global extreming - it's either too hot or too cold in Melbs, with few of the beautiful, perfect autumn and spring days inbetween. Whatever is the world coming to? Sigh.

First crop, kinda :-) Decided 10 days ago to 'try' a few buds and let the rest mature...one plant later and after the second plant is a mere skeleton of its former glory :-), I gotta say growing your own is sssooooo nice! Pick enough for a few hours, dry it for 5 mins in oven, relax ahhh, then whenever more is required, pick a little more! And more buds form if you're careful how you cut. Big fan of home growing now.

Am wondering for an indoor setup, how big do the pots need to be? Would really appreciate advice, since I'll buy what is needed but the bigger the pot, the bigger the price, and I don't have $$ to waste (who does?).

yadayada - you can grow in a shotglass if you want, but the bigger the pot the bigger the plant can get so it's up to you really. quite a few of us here in melb, welcome

the easiest way might be to source then from retailers/restaurants who usually are willing to sell them to you cheaply off the books than return them for credit to the providers. I'm thinking the local take away food joint who gets their pasta sauce, bread crumbs etc delivered in the big white buckets. I've bought the ~10L buckets from a health food shop before for $5 each, however I'd prefer the tall buckets.

Thanks for the welcome, Miss G. That bucket looks good, but if you want the lid it's an extra 2.10 or something like that. If you order, please can you let me know what they charge for postage?

Will 8ltr pots give a decent sized plant?

how many plants do u guys think i could fit into a grow tent 1mx1mx1.6m and/or 80cmx80cmx160 cm with a 250 hps ? can i still get good growth if the tent is really crowded ?

Hmm I can't remember the output of the vitapet pump fom big w, but it's a dual outlet pump for around $15 and the lines and stones are pretty cheap... I'm just more confident buying things in person especially if the price is comparable to online.

Oh and check the size if the air stones... Little ones just won't do

yeah the older u get the faster the time passes. but what if we all were unemployed .. we wouldnt have the food we have today or the technology and we would probly have shitty timber houses with no heating ..
