I got my first bike at 4 and rode all my life apart from the last 10 years. They were my only mode of transport for years at a time and due to my job for 10 years I had a company bike. I also did track days and had a track bike.

All car drivers should have to do a bike riding course before receiving their licence. They don't have to pass the riding test but need to pass the theory. For eg the looking in the distance not whats directly in front, understanding blind spots and how a bikes headlight can get lost in the car following them. etc.

Mobile phone use is a pet hate of mine and as you guys do I see people on their phone and driving every day. The fines on this needs to be like drink driving. Its probably more dangerous and is more prevalent.

It's up to bike riders to ride defensively as well.I'm a pretty easy going driver but iv'e doored a bike rider trying to push up past at a red light. Don,t know about a bike riding course but i think a car driving course should be mandatory.

I get sick of hearing from one side about "bloody dole bludgers" and from the other side how "no one will give me a chance" I hate working but i hate being broke even more so till I figure something else out it's the better of 2 evils unfortunatley

I'm not saying bike riders are never to blame. There are some fkn bad bike riders out there. I used to use the footpath on Parramatta rd in peak hr.....lol
One of our schools down here actually use the local speedway track and give the year 10 students driving experience. Which I think is pretty cool.
And yes I agree with you on the drivers course.
 
I had a cop pull me over for using a bus lane in Sydney once. He wanted to book me and I recon it took me 30 minutes for me to finnaly get him to ring someone to confirm what I was doing was legal. Pretty sad when cops don't know the rd rules.

loc mate uv always given tje best advice same for every one here really im going for it im willing 2 go to prison ur rigjt bro only i can change my situation been training a bit im not selling any thing for thos grow and i wouldent grow what im gunna sell at home but im tired of not living life cuse im broke weeds my passion tjeres nothing wrong with it i do no trust worthy people who smoke but weve ner smoked or any thi g together but thay have proven to be trusht worthy i really couod really use the money i get driving lessons soon tho so ill have tnat job but ye i wanna travel n stuff lol sorry im really high right now ay

Road rules should be the same across the board in this country.. Im pretty sure its less that 30 here ive filtered for years saves everyone time and traffic build up BUT only when its safe to do so... Ive had dickheads filter through when they shouldn't have just to ride with me... I just shake me head... Theres old bikers on the roads these days but there isnt old crazy bikers on the roads now... They find road barriers and the undersides of cars sooner or later...
