I think i will be doing cannibinoid testing soon. More for my own interest than anything. But might offer up my services locally for a small fee through the local hydro shop.

Just curious would any of you use that service if it was in your area and what do you think would be a fair price.

Would depend on how accurate the results are and how you could validate those results.

Hi all,
I was wondering about seeds getting ceased by customs, mine have been sitting in melbourne for 10 days, do you think they'd be gone and if they get ceased do they follow it up? It was only 6 seeds.

I had seeds sitting in Melb customs for 2 weeks before I accepted the fact they were not going to make it
There we 40 seed in that pack and there was 3 parcels 4 days apart as part of one 150 seed purchase.
Parcels 1 and 3 made it it was the 2nd parcel that didn't.
It's been 2 months nearly and not even a letter sent to me.
That's the first one in about 30 parcels that's been stopped for me.
Be patient though some ppl on here waited 4/5 weeks to get theirs thru Melb

Its thin layer chromatography and is supposed to be accurate to within +/- 1%

Independent reviews i have seen comparing the results with actual lab results show this to be true.

That said there is no real way to verify it unless you send a sample to a real lab which we cant do here obviously which is why im looking at doing it myself.

My thing is im a pretty shit judge of potency because im a very casual smoker. Everything puts me on my arse lol. I normally rely on friends reviews etc which i still would do but it would be nice to be able to see thc vs cbd etc.

Im not really trying to make a business out of it just always thought if there was someone doing it i would use them so maybe since im getting the gear i need ro do it maybe i could let other people in my area get some advantage from it aswell

I like the idea and maybe it could be used to give a ball park figure but the actual % numbers and ratios wouldn’t be accurate enough for me without being able to verify the results

I don't think the risk would be worth it to be honest, for you or for those sending in samples.

THC doesn't measure the high so the only benefit I see would be those looking for CBD heavy strains.

yeah im not suggesting anybody send samples. i was more thinking along the lines of just letting my mate that runs the hydro shop know if anybody wanted a test that i could run one for them. you know just share the love.
im definitely getting a kit to see for myself. its just another tool in the arsenal for me. i will probably just keep it to myself i suppose. i mean its not like anybody else cant just go buy the same kit anyway
