Aussie Growers Thread

Hi all, hope all is good in the world of roll it up!
First post ever, long time grower.
No probs growing ind/out up here, tropical and hot dry seasons also close to the border for easy seed arrival.
Had 4 out of 5 orders of seeds arrive, cant and wont say which distributors on here as there is customs and well just slack ass cops that would rather bust a few seeds than the real criminals.

im in WA on the land and have noticed some strange changes to the weather over here, i think winters comming late this year, so just make sure when you put them out in oct if its really stormy you can put them back under flouro lights at night, until nov/ dec then they should stay veging over summer sort of thing
 
Ok built my grow tent today :)

Hopefully those tempts will get a little warmer now as im worried i might lose one of the biggest plants i have to that fucking yellow top issue :(
 
Why dont you just by a 15 dollar heater from kmart. That is what i am doing because i grow in a shed. I turn it on and off while i am doing the gardening.
 
yer i have a lil oil heater i can use if i need too. But i want to see if the light is sufficient for now. As 7 plants + small fan + heater takes up alot of space so i need to try fit it all in. Tomorrow ill check what the tempts are after the light has been on for a few hours and see what happens. I mean just while i was setting up i was in the tent and i was sweating by the end of it.

I only built the tent 1m x 1.3m x 2m
 
guys i got a realy realy close friend buying weed in the next 2 days how much should i by looking to get fpr $1000 ? he doesnt wanna get ripped. an ounce is 250 here in melb so im thinking about 112 grams or does the price get even more cheaper from an once onwards ?

dude dont u have a 600 hps , i got a 250 atm and where im growing its 8 degrees celcuis at night but within the grow space its 17 at the coldest part of the night.
 
skiz.. plants sitting in cold over-watered media is really bad bro.. Roots need oxygen, the more oxygen the roots get, the faster she blows garrrrrr (sry, that was my inner pirate)

the best way i can think to explain is the water n nutes are like FUEL, and the faster you go the more fuel you use.. so u can see the wasted potential in ur plants if its taking them 7 days to even begin drying out., they could be going soo much faster.. low temperatures slow marijuana's rate of metabolism and growth.

and water 'em less until u get them warmed up,.. and uve got a tent now so hope that helps ur temps.

Man if u want to get the most out of ur plants uve really gotta try to keep them within their comfort zone u know.

and i hope any of this helps man, its not voodoo magic, its not stabs in the dark at mystery deficiencies, just basics bro.

hes growing in coco isnt he ? its hard to to overwater in coco its hold 9 times its weight in water , how many grams would u get for 1k in syd ?
 
scg- of course u can over-water in coco man, jeez, u write something like that then he'll get ideas.. did u even read wot i wrote,..

anyways, he seems to have the idea now, skiz seems a pretty sharp chap.

i got no idea about pot prices bro other then small bits,..
 
i grow in coco and feed them every 4 hours, 4 to 6 times a day, u can overwater in coco but its really hard to, i think thats what he was getting at
 
ok where the fuck is ninja or someone cos i need help trying to comprehend wot ppl are saying?!?!
im really not following, not being a smarty pants..

so this guy has heavy wet plants sitting in 10something degress, they stay heavy for a week.. the tops are yellowing and they are not over-watered bcos u cant over-water in coco?..
