With all this discussion about lights, I'm sure at some point I'll want to upgrade from what I have, but I'm totally clueless atm & happy with what I've currently got until they cark it. The gear I have serves the purpose I bought them for - germination & early veg. before I can put them out into real sunlight.

When it comes to it, I'll be wanting to pick the brains of the folks that know a shitload more than me & be guided by superior knowledge. 'Hope you guys & girls won't mind holding my hand when I get to that stage.

Just like to say that im not real handy or confident with electricity. But even i have built a light using strips. U connect two wires....

Yeah keeping led thread on track isn’t easy, especially if you’re starting from scratch and not sure where to begin especially on complete diy builds.

At least these days there are more options for kits and plug/play lights than a year ago even if the p/p guys do need to pick up their game.

Just grab a growlush one. The mh bulbs didn’t get as much attention as the hps from the horticulture sector when they played with spectrums

Na they aren’t atriums. Those are off eBay, 1 guy had a listing after buying bulk (I’m guessing through alibaba) and a few of the guys on the led section cottoned on because they where cheap and came with a matching driver for each strip.
