Aussie Growers Thread

The thing with water only to the end is great- If you know how long you have to go. Which you only know if its at from the 2nd run off a clone. Otherwise u could be starving the plant when it needs feeding.

Flushing saves money, with little to no effects on potency nor yield.
Nitrogen in the buds go up a smidgen to as the buds pull the N out of the leaves when u stop feeding them.

But its the Chlorophyll that makes harsh tasting smoko and thats why a long slow dry and a cure is required to get the best tasting smoko.

But its an age old debate that wont ever go away. I also think that the term Flush is a stupid term. I normally feed, water, water, feed in the Hempys. I dont Feed, Flush, flush, flush...

To me Flushing is leaching and you carnt leach hydro.... if in Coco then u should be adding Calcium- something to do with science.

There was a study done on blind testing flushed/non flushed and people couldn’t tell the difference.
a two or three week flush after months of expensive nutes is essential

Aussie mate is in nft one week is fine in coco two or at least three is ok

if ya dont want complaints :wall: when smoked up:bigjoint:

i thought you tried feeding to end and couldnt tell the difference?
ahh, u taper down or did.

Don’t flush persay I just taper down to a e.c around .6 and use drip clean and cannazyme with my mix, this has been tapering down for two weeks and looks good all the leaves are yellowing so I know it’s pulling more nutrients from the leaves than the soil
That’s what I did after we where all talking bout it. No cunt has said anything.

They have prolly been seeding clouds here in tas as we where on water restrictions before all this rain
So wouldt surprise me.
