I can feel a chaisaw fiesta coming on this weekend...

New bars, new chains.

Shitloads of fuel & 20L of bar/chain oil.

Sweaty, hard work, but rewarding.
20L of bar oil should get you through the weekend haha. My 10L is still going 6 years later. What saws are you running? Tried an electric?

thank fuck, bully some pics of weed

not sure if i prefer the constant bitch sessions or the endless noobs asking what seedbanks to use on here the most,

its a tough call :wall:
Fuck mate, we've gotta start somewhere... I click the little search thingo first, but you cunts have this thread so clogged it's easier to just ask! ;)

Does Coopers Sparkling Ale count? Probably cat piss compared to your brews.

Ok thanks mate, first grow and fabric pots seemed the all rage when i was setting up. They have helped me get the watering dialed in without water logging the pots. But downside the fungus gnats can get through the fabric and be anywhere in the plant instead of just in the topsoil and were hard to control.

Least it's not mold, i have a bit of a jungle in that 4x4 and humidity is up. Definitely want to try hydro after a few soil grows under my belt though.
Dude look into autopots!
Ill never go back to soil.
So easy, no hand watering every few days..
Explosive growth, i have had zero bug/pest issues , no deficiencies at all
check out my grow journal. Happy to answer any questions

I've got two Husky 435's, a shitty Ryobi & a Stihl MS880 with a 30" bar for the bigger stuff. All semi-chisel chains (not as fast/aggressive as full-chisel, but the chains last longer between sharpenings).

I’ve got a little stihl 023 that I picked up for a bargain. Came with the original full chisel chain. I get 3 times as long out of a sharpen as my old mans semi chisel. His is more lenient on going through a little dirt etc while mine the second it hits some shit it’ll be blunt. Clean cutting only for the full chisel, I even debark with the cheapo Chinese saw that gets zero love.

I've got an old Stihl 08S.
Second hand from a hire yard. Came with extra bar carbys etc. Basically a spare 08s saw in bits for parts and 5 new Chains, 9 used....once or twice. Plus a little Stihl.
She's old heavy and reliable. Stihl plenty of torque and compression and enough chains and parts to see me out. Looking at a big farmboss for the big greybox and Redgum that inhabit my parts and need to be eradicated lol

The MS880 is a beast of a machine, i've never owned one but used one that also had the 30" bar. Got a bloke who delivers my wood cheap now, so down to a MS170 and an electric Makita. I'm a petrol head from way back and have always laughed at whimpy electric saws. But for the smaller stuff they are fucking awesome, especially for carting in the 4wd to clear trees off tracks etc.

Just checked out your journal, seems like a good system and working out well for you. Is this mob who made yours? autopot.com.au/kits

I want to give hydro a go, but want to have another run in soil to get that dialed in first and improve on the stuff i've learned on my first grow. I outgrew one tent and got a second tent, so i could probably do soil in one and hydro in the other.

Reminds me, havent done a grow update in a while. Tent 2 is pretty full, they are starting to stretch a bit now. I've taken off the LST clips i've been using to widen and flatten the canopy. So now they can stretch up. Thought i got the fungus gnats under control, but they hit back again. Otherwise all seems to be fairly healthy and no warning signs. Tent 2:

Tent 1 is a bit further along since flip, and there's buds everywhere forming up. Same as the other tent, no real issue besides gnats and it's going great... almost too good that i'm waiting for some kind of curve ball. Tent 1:

Getting excited now, so rewarding opening the tent and seeing the growth! :D
