Just tried cloning for the first time. Wrapped up a tall glass with seasol mixture with aluminium foil (including the top), poked two holes in the top and slipped in two cuttings.

Hopefully I can get one of the rooted, into a pot and then I'll manipulate the daylight it gets and force it into flower to see if the SSH I have going in the scrog truly is female from a feminized pack...don't trust those GHS mother fuckers.

Update:: got the pot-ups done, got a LK in a tube pot:) Didn't get to make an organny mix yet and I've still gotta hang the 400 in the new spot. Time for a haze break.

Yo Tran Dinh!

I just mixed up some seasol with some water as per the directions...and then put that in the glass (perroni glass - thin long stemmed metro sexual beer glass). Hopefully they root...

I don't think it has shown it's sex. Subcool says by day 45 one should be able to sex the plant. If it has little sacs, then it's male, if it has little hairs or nothing then its female. Mine has nothing...so I am assuming that it is indeed female. However, one two occasions, I have scrapped of what appeared to be an extra leaf or abnormality of some new growth...it could have been a little sac for all I know...

Knowing that GHS are lieing kents, I don't want to continue training this scrog if it turns out to be male...(from a feminized seed)...

Fingers crossed that the clones root, and that they are indeed female. I will then give those two little clones away to friends (or maybe plant them sneaky ninja style)

the bit about Nev & Shanti is what I was hinting at earlier 'omie, when you asked about aussie breeders. For all those interested in old school aus sativas the Mango I was referring too earlier is just one such strain. Around '95 probably there was a shit ton of 'mango head' kicking around up here, unimpressive looking foils of leaf but when you cracked em it was all hairs inside. Managed to get a bag from a mates grandpa who still grows it and crossed it for a bit more indoor workability. The mother was a stinky, stinky ho and she has passed on the strength of her BO but not the exact profile. That seems to have come from the Mango dad, only 3-4 times stronger smelling.

hahaha yup when i was but a wee sprout up on the sunshine coast some of the first weed i ever grew was that mango, i would say that was back in about 96-97 maybe

Oh right gotcha now:) well if there up to it they'll throw roots eventually. I've had luck in plain water, I've tried with a little bubbler to aerate and they failed heh.
Yes mate there are some different odd growths around the nodes, sacks get pretty obvious as they get bigger. I reckon you got a girl fwiw.

@ that mango bud reached far and wide from what I've heard, I've wondered if it was 'mango haze' or just a mango sativa.

she soars like a haze tran, something you are probably feeling right now. I've heard her called 'mango haze' once or twice by dudes older than me and she shows a bit of variation from seed. I have a soaring haze pheno from the cross, smells good, tastes like shit and a bangin body stone pheno that definately picked up the small amount of indica in the mum. She smells and tastes waaaay better but I like the other one. Both girls but going to silver and reciprocal backcross.

Right yeah miyagi. A mate of mine was getting it in Canberra act in the mid late 90s. This haze I'm smoking now tastes of mango, it's a hybrid as most haze is. Another guy I use to smoke with claimed to have smoked "the mango 'bud' " more recent, he's not that old so I don't know if he is talking bs but I don't get into it.

@'ome- mate if your serious about cloning then I could suggest better methods, I was under the impression you ere just tinkering,

Sounds like a girl I dated years ago. Her mother was very stinky too so she obviously passed on her stinky genes to her offspring.
Shame really, she was a nice girl apart from her wretched stench.

sup guys,
plants are flowering now, there all looking healthy had a few problems with caterpillars n other bugs but i think i got ride of most of them.
i didn't expect the plants to grow so big so its kind of hard to access parts of them, i should also be getting a tent tomorrow so i can start growing inside.
