TBH I've done a few proper fems and not found a male or hermie. I think the dangerous ones are the accidental hermies that produce seed, the seeds are then sold as fems, peeps get unstable seed

I wish I had more seeds at the moment for seed bombing... but... A few more HBD grows and there will be a shit load of seed bombings going on...
 
good stable genetics, proven not to herm under "normal" conditions which are reversed and used to pollinate seperate clones can produce perfectly fine fems

Just tell her in 3-6months(in case of fuckups) it will pay for itself at least 4 times over. Long term, man it has saved me a fortune on weed! Plus there's the health reasons, proper flushing, no dealers to add glass shavings, no assosciating with criminals to get on all the time! Phew! Totally fucken worth it.
Plus I have a shit hot LED- go HID. Peace!
 
So can I build my own led 'dome' that could sit over half a wine barrel (the dome would be 1 meter tall 50 com diameter) and use the the LEDs to veg and flower? Or should I go hps?
 
I reckon with that set up bro you could max it out to pull 2-3oz at a time. Hps you would want a wee bit more space but yield+++. If you only want/need a ouple of oz every couple of months then go for it. Esp. if you can hook upyour own LEDs etc.
 
Having the led's would mean no ballast, no need for cool tube etc.

I have access to some sort of Ozone generator thingo that apparently nukes smell. I think I could get this thing going with just a 4 way power board :)
 
Get it with 2 or 3 switches, to turn on more leds to change kelvin rating, i.e. clone, veg, flower colours at the flick of a switch. Or do the colours seperately like mine, dial in% for each..?
 
be warned man, leds get hotter than most think. Mine is 150w and it is fan cooled. Most commercial units have built in heat sinks
 
Is computer fan all it needs? Was thinking more than that...if that's it for exhaust the. We are back in business. If they are cheap enough I'll run two domes. 4 grow tubs, 2 with green manures and the other two in either veg or flower.
 
Fuck yeah. I miss outdoor but 4 neighbours can see into my backyard and 2 hate me. Used to have a sweet yard for it. These days outdoor would only compromise the indoor operations
 
Yeah...planning on running the 4 tubs on an ongoing basis. Veg and flower either with the dome or by natural sunlight depending on the season. I.e. will veg all plants during spring and summer with natural light and flower all plants during winter with natural light (greenhouse). All other times I could use the dome...makes growing a bit more flexible...I can also then force flower seedlings as well.
