Honestly man it doesn't look to bad. Maybe give a weak feed of grow nutes if it's getting to you

I just bought a Ryobi for $450 has a Yamaha engine and a decent sise catcher with a mulcher and side shoot.

You'd be hard pressed to find a decent one for under 500.
Maybe look on gumtree. Honda are good.
