Aussie Growers Thread

Fkn wat a day hot as a texans cnt an me wall ac decided it wanted to have a spell.. The winds were blowing straight in from hell i reckon gotta feel for the people battlin these fires for the last few months. Plants copd a beltin aswell cpl toasted leaves nothing that will slow em down any but had a main branch snap. It did have a previous battle wound where it snapped though.. Anyway time to kick back drink a few more cold vics an listen to some of these tunes

Those fogga sytems that were posted earlier look the goods. Get a big tub/bucket slap the fogga in there an run off a humidistat. Dnt kno allot about it bout sounds like a good plan with a set up of your size, it would be something i would look into anyway

Yea nah i wouldn be loadin up on it reza im only lookin for a booster to give them once every now an then. Unsure on bloom nutes just yet as i dnt wanna go throwin alot of dollas at this grow so probs just end up runin something from bunnings with a little extra boost of something here an there..

just go with mpk once a week, 5-15g/10l for the first 3-4 weeks than switch to potassium sulfate the last couple of weeks to boost k levels. I’d also recommend hitting them with foliar calcium as phosphorus will bind with calcium locking both out of the rootzone

most Bunnings products will have little to no phosphorus in them. Especially plant available phosphorus

You need an oscillating fan or more to keep air moving around in your room that size, and provide a slight breeze on your plants, but not blowing hard on them. Just think of leaf flutter.
Controlling your exhaust fan on/off will increase humidity when it’s off, but you’ll need a fair bit of foliage on your plants, and watering them often (transpiration) to accomplish that, then when the exhaust fans off the temp will rise. You also need to be exchanging the air in your room fairly consistently if your not injecting CO2.
Your best looking at the post I put up earlier for you.

Indoor gardening is not only about stealth, it’s also being able to create the correct environment for your plants. ;)

it’s because some states (like wa) restrict products with high phosphorus content and it doesn’t make sense for them to have 1 set of product for the majority of aus and 1 set for wa

I could always google the reasons to why W.A have these rules but... Do have info on why this is the case

They work great up to a certain room sizes. You’re spot on with how you set them up. There’s videos on that web site too. You need to use a well sealed tub (IP 65), do a hole cutout for placing the fan on top on one side of the lid and screw n silicon it down, and another hole on opposite side for the fog outlet. Another small hole for the power cord for the misting head. Run a pool vacuum hose piece from outlet with a 90 degree conduit end behind an oscillating wall fan. Set it up to a humidistat that can do day/night settings....bingo.
Use RO water in them and run some light H202 in them to keep em clean as the misting unit head does heat the water a bit.
