Yep, for certain, some strains are strongly perennial - plant dies, but roots and stem live on (frost permitting) and pop outta hiding the next year. can buy perennial seeds from reputable (well, I assume, have heard of people buying from them no worries) seedbanks. Others are capable of it but sensitive. So yipeeee, will continue to dream my dreams until next year.

well i found out in tafe today why my clones wernt putting down roots , i was just cutting the stem anywhere it looked good lol not leaving on the bottom node..

ya bra, go seedboutique if ur prepared to use a c/c in ur name, otherwise go planetskunk, they have a bank deposit in westpac or national i think it was, too easy.. i dont think u get freebies with PS tho and the selection aint as big so not as many bargains..
but both those i would reccomend

There is a Weed Tree in Nimbin so big you can climb it.. It's Perennial.
As for your Hermie theory if you look back ALOT of pages you will find it explained in depth somewhere.. I'd retype it, but it was so much & I'm using my Iphone so it will take even longer

The process 4 Feminized seeds is not just starting with a random plant that turned Hermie. They take thousands of em.. Cull the Males. Select the best 50 Females, then attempt to 'shock' the plants through various tests such as low/high temps, high PH/EC, hot/cold feeds, erratic light cycles etc. All the while throwing away the weaker plants that Hermied along the way.
When they are left with a few (or one) genetically strong unique pheno they then force it to change through the use of a chemical called Collodial Silver. This makes the female produce pollen and thus it pollenates itself with Female Pollen (leaving no Male chromosone in the equation). Sure the offspring could hermie as a result, but if u get ur seeds from a quality place then u can b assured that their rigorous testing has more than 99% ruled that possibility out.

I'm starting to seriously consider buying some LED grow lights....just got my elec bill 
OMG...... my m8 from san fran says they are all using them over there,,,less power,less heat,safer....and a nicer stoner friendly colourful grow room.... sounds good to me 
Now if only they really worked..?
I've been studying these lights for a few years now,,, I own some pro bars (3) and they are good supplemental lighting for my hps's ... I have been waiting for the technology to advance enough to be worthwhile investing in more,,,and
I rekin that these lights are the go....the first ones you can really do the whole cycle under from veg to flowering http://www.hydrogrowled.com/index.php?option=com_virtuemart&Itemid=41
Expensive to start with but they would make that back 1st harvest ....
I know that next year they will be even better and prob cheaper....maybe I could get one 600 equivalent now and another next year...?? just thinking aloud here...anyone bought an led light recently ?

colloidal silver, eh? that stuff has a million n one uses! hmmmm, but then dear ninja miss, how is it that my bagseeds r all fem (of 10 to germinate, 10 fem)? Big luck maybe? hmm, if so, might buy regular not fem seeds n trust luck to hold! Ahhh, but when you trust in luck, she runs away!

hmmm leds too pricey. will i manage ok with 2 fluoros, energy saver 130w....one 6400 n one, cant remember, but with red spectrum light? haven't bought 2nd one yet, so if i need something else can look at getting it.
ninj, looked at ur grow link in sig. mmmm! u know what ur doing! i think 4 my first grow inside i would just be happy to have plants that survive to the end and produce a few g....though of course, big dreams...
setting up is big $$, but over time will work out cheaper. just gathering basic necessities, n can add fancy lights n stuff later.
re nutes, does flowering specific type make that much difference that I'll need it? am getting maxigrow.
saw design for coke can reflector for, obviously, smaller fluoro lights. could alter for 130w, but will it work ok? they used it plain as reflector, but i could paint it white?
heard that foil is only 55% reflective...but if i can't afford anything else first grow, it's better than nothing? but heard 'hot spots' an issue - creases in foil cause it to not uniformly reflect the light, is that what they meant by hot spots?

G'day all. Hows everyone been doing? I've been shopping on ebay all afternoon... That's a dangerous site for a girl with a little cash... I've decided to upgrade a few things in my shed, so I bought a larger mother tent and some trays for flooding... I still need a few things here and there, does anyone else feel like they perpetually shop for their garden...????
