Cannabis plants found in kids' NSW home: police
Just heads up for the Sydney folkJune 9, 2010
Hundreds of cannabis plants have been found in a NSW south coast house, where two children were living, and another house in Sydney's west, police say.
Police say 104 cannabis plants were seized from a house on Nolan Street at Berkeley following a raid about 8am yesterday.
A woman and two children were found in the house.
A 27-year-old Fairfield man was charged with several drug offences, including exposing children to drugs.
He was refused bail and will appear before Wollongong Local Court today.
In a separate raid, police say they discovered 331 cannabis plant at a home on Broughton Street, Campbelltown, about 4.45pm yesterday.
Police say three rooms in the house had been converted to grow hydroponic cannabis.
A 41-year-old man was arrested at the house and charged with several drug offences.
He was refused bail and will appear before Campbelltown Local Court today.
That guy was dobbed in... The police really have no idea unless informed... Someone knew and wanted to exact a bit of revenge, or someone didn't like the fact kids were living in the house.... Its really sad.....
indoor elements grow tents are awesome. i have 2 and getting a 3rd one soon. they have some small light issues but nothing some alluminium tape cant fixhey everyone, just wondering if anyone's using the "indoor elements" grow tents advertised at discount hydro on ebay? they seem ok but i've never read a review of one. From my research it looks like the darkroom range from secret jardin are the best product but i cannot find anywhere that stocks them and the company wont respond to my emails to see if they'll ship one (i doubt it...). My main concern is light tightness. It must not leak light out or in. Ive looked at hydrohut and homebox which both seem ok but apparently leak light and the homebox hasn't got enough vents for my needs. I have built closets before but i need a tent so i can collapse it and move it around when i need to. If anyone has any recommendations or experience with tents that'd be awesome. thanks
Ive always wondered how sensitive plants REALLY are to small amounts of light. I mean if you change the light cycle for one day (ie. you give them 18/6 all the time but one day a timer breaks and they only get 12/12) would it really damage the plant that much? Or even long term exposure to small amounts of light? After all if your trying to blast them with 1Kw of light surely a little infiltrated light wouldnt hurt?I don't think any tent is truly light tight, and between Eightenough and I we have seven of them....lol... So we are the ones to ask that's for sure...
