just a query then, do you have the buckets in a grow tray that drains straight into a res?? Or how is it u do it?? ive just bought some cheap 20L buckets off ebay (i dont need 20L but meh) andhoping to start the HB's soon

I just put a catch tray underneath the buckets to catch the run off. I do run to waste so only 1.25 liters per bucket every 2 days. Every once in a while i will give 2 feeds in 2 days but rarely does that happen. The advantage of coco is you can grow a large plant with minimal soil. I was going to use 20 liter buckets but with coco i find that would be a waste of coco. I used 18 liter buckets with my big white bubba's that were vegged for 4 months.

I agree with SCG if you are going to use 20 liter buckets go DWC. I think that is what i am going to do with my 20 liter buckets. Good advice SCG.

Hey guys after a month and a half of waiting on plantet skunkI think its time to try another seed bank.. Is there still any trust worthy seedbanks out there that send to oz? I have been looking at speedy seedz? Anyone have any luck with them

hmmm yea ill check it out...im on my first grow right now...just got plants in 5L pots. Starting clones and seedlings in rockwool then when they get to size, putting the rockwool into pots filled wioth clayballs. which led me to ask bout clayballs and hand watering

sup fool,
try 50/50%..........perlite and coco, cost f#$k all and grows monster weed., with coco nutes, and made for hand watering/monitoring.
dont get me wrong i got a clay ball room from hell to, i just like the end result from coco to smoke and it uses f#$K all water, and nutes

dwc is awesome as long as my brotha got his ec meter, thermostat, and pumps, and an enclosed environment, and a ph meter, oh he'll, need in line fans, blah blah blah, coco, and heaps of pelite, is designed for hand watering IMO, but each to their own, hey im just a fool, who's trippin what do i know????

yeah he should have most of that regardless if hes growing indoors dwc or not.im switching my bitches to 12/12 next monday im over bagseed allready ..i just hate not knowing what im growing!

even just grab an old 8 litre bucket laying and throw a bagseed in ..seedman makes it sound intence when really its only water and bubbles lol

yep i'm pretty happy with my closet coco?perlite grow, 1 month inta budding, only prob is i keep snippin of the goodies, its growing fast now on coco bloom nutes at 1750 ppm.
i keep doin the quick dry methonds and they just dont work good
Hey hey peeps, me back in action! Been sick, been busy, been smoking, been sick again..now I'm back again with my second grow in process! I learnt from last time that I cannot leave THC growing in the cupboard when I'm outta buds, so I have extra plants happening for me to smoke early - hopefully the rest will make it to full maturity!
How was Amsterdam Jimmeh? Did you get to Hill St Blues? Still got the fab grafitti wall? I hav a few pics and jokes written there somewhere, but was too out of it to remember where! Did you try Chocomel?

Someone was asking earlier about clay pellets and hand-watering....this is what I do, but you need two pots, one with holes in sitting inside the other without holes in. Mix up nutes etc, water as much as you think the girls need and leave for a week or so. Whever the plants need a change, take pots to a sink or bath, lift out the inner pot and set it aside to drain, wash out the holeless pot...then repeat until you're smokin some fine home-grown! works a treat. But, yeah, you can't go getting ripped and laying on the couch playing x-box and forgetting about your girls AND expect good results. With care, the plants are vigorous and healthy and grow heaps.
Me waiting on planetskunk order, they shipped soon as they received my confirmation email. Another order with a different ocmpany...yay Kush seeds are available again, I think Ninja found this strain awsome? Hope I can grow it as well as his mate.
