looking good mate! why did you decide to go with the shopping bags? doesn't seem like much soil for the plants for a long aus season. Last years plant looks nice so no doubting ya! 2 failed guerrilla attempts for me and thats enough to put me off for a long while! haha anyone who can pull off that shit deserves praise! good luck

12v battery, cheapo bilge pump and a 100m hose. With a meter or two head height they are fine. No carrying, less movement, less trails.

I know, more expense but under $100 well spent especially with some sort of reservoir (wheelie bin works great!) for the hot months when that hole dries up?

Chosen to use the shopping bags as I had fuck all money when I really needed it, and had to use whatever I could definitely a fuck up but did what i had to do, otherwise they were alll going straight into the ground which is real sandy and shit. Wasnt keen on that, prefer to have em bagged off to keep everything contained. Just bought bulk soil and perlite etc so tomorrow ill be adding a couple more solid holes lined with actual garbage bags. Ill post some pics. Each holds about 50L which should make a big difference. Will be good anyway to compare and learn with each different approach; Got some straight in the ground, others in small bags, some in pots, and the rest in big garbage bags. Time will tell
Sucks youve had bad luck with the past few, any reason why? But not wrong man, its all worth while though in the end ya just gotta push!
Tazbud, I think of this everynight man ay, weather to do the hard yards and bucket bomb each watering? or just go all out and make each visit easier on myself. Was thinking bout setting up a bin at the top of the patch as a resi, and running a hose with small holes punched through at each plant stem to act as a slow drip. Makes for less frequent visits, with more constant watering

yeah its all about learning thats the best part i find. first year fucked up and put plants in wrong spot with very minimal sunlight hah, then last year found a good spot heaps of sun and invested a lot of money time and energy. Me and a mate dug big holes and carried out about 1200 litres of expensive soil filled the holes and put 50 liter pots with the bottoms cutout over them. then we flogged a 240 litre wheelie bin and put a tap on the bottom gt that out there then made the trip back and forth with 2 20 litre jerry cans and being the dumb fucks we are we didnt make a nice spot for the bin so with the last jerry can going in the bottom cracked because of a rock, stupid mistakes. Anyway the plants kicked on a bit in the beginning but then i dunno what happened they just didnt grow at all for a whole month.. Stayed completely healthy but just the same size. I ended up going OS for a month and never ended up going back. The 1 hour drive there each week to see nothing happen was shit so cut my loses! Its hard enough keeping 2 plants in my backyard healthy let alone 10 out in the bush! haha good luck bro ill be watching. heres a few photos from the last time i saw them

Haha spewin for ya man, that would have been so fucked up setting everything up. 1200L of soil is hectic! Even carrying those jerry cans would have been enough work, definitely alot harder than it seems hey! On a positive though its good exercise
But youre absolutely right, all about the learning curve. Never thought ide be so stoked about gardening haha.
The spot you had looks nice though dude, done well blending it all in with the surroundings.
Maybe the black pots you used were heating up the roots too much and stunted their growth? Just a guess anyway, got no idea otherwise What strains were you using?
Luckily my spot isnt too far away and the water source is also really close so the extra effort mightn't even be necessary..
Doing any this year nugget? Been a fine spring so far, do the mission out to the old spot haha it sounds ready to go! You can amend that old soil and reuse it no worries.

im subbed in man any aussie is a mate of mine lol....your ground around the area reminds me of when I done a small guerilla grow years ago in amongst the dunes and scrub...5 acres to play with and my old girl rang the cops to say someones growing on her property ..lol if she kept her dog locked up I would have been ok..should ave seen the look on my face when she told me over the phone some dopehead was using her property to gro half a dozen plants lol...anyways good luck man ive always got extra respect for guerilla growers and the like ...go hard !...if you near somewhere where you can get some of neutrogs rocket fuel or seamungus pellets and gogo juice grab some sprinkle around a couple plants and water gogo juice on them once a fortnight with powerfeed and water in between you will notice some sort of difference

As for the spot, its smack bang in the middle of a swamp, so seemed odd to get such sandy soil out there. Makes digging easier anyway lol. Only shit thing is the amount of fucking bull ants roaming around the joint! Already been bitten several times lol its a cunt of an act.

Heres a little bud shot from one of last seasons bagseed. Think it was some sort of haze, real fruity smell to it almost like mango.

yep no wozzas...just a hint...the gogo juice is primarily to use to help get stuff already in the soil like rocket fuel seamungus kabloom etc to breakdown its got great humus properties etc ....generally gogo juice u apply once or twice a month the keep the soil going with pro biotics etc ...powerfeed is what I use as well ..did you know there is a purple bottle power feed for flowering etc?i only just seen it this last couple months myself....anyway when I feed I generally do powerfeed once a week water in between and gogo juice once every 2-4 weeks.i already have rocket fuel mixed in with all the soils so the juice just helps keep it breaking down.Props to u man gd luck

and theres nothing wrong with the look of your buds from last season so you know what your doing ....did you feed them anything different once flowering came on or just the red powerfeed all the way thru?

There was a green one too but it wasnt as high in K so went with the red. Never seen the purple ay, remember what the NPK was?
I usually buy ferts from the hardware, they have a fair range where im at. Was gonna switch to seasol once flowering starts, although im sorta sketchy about it possibly attracting animals, what do you reckon?
Last year I used this australian liquid fert called monstabud which you could instantly tell made a big difference once they started getting regular feeds. Also used this granular heat release fert called gardengold, but only a small quantity. Dont like to overdo it with the chems etc..
Which makes me ask, what do you use/add for flushing?

cant remember what the npk was but its for flowering so it would be set up with hardly any nitrogen etc...ive amended the soil with some goodies for the gogo juice to work with powerfeed as well but once a week im feeding with maxigrow veg/maxigrow bloom when times right its the closest I could find to maxsea they use in cali...gro npk 10/5/14 bloom 5/15/14 apart from that just the water inbetween.....I really wanted to order maxsea on ebay at ridicules shipping costs but came across this which is very close

It does look pretty swampy, most paperbark swamps here have peat to the surface, the clay must be down there somewhere Water crystals may help a lot? (I always just ammended the local dirt for my bush grows, added what the soil needed) Iv'e used seasol outdoors many times, its blood n bone yas gotta watch

Cheers for the heads up man, def staying away from blood n bone. Im going with a 70% mix of potting soil and compost, and 30% mix of perlite, peatmoss and vermiculite. Handful of lime, and mixed thoroughly, made for a nice light and airy medium. Ill try the water crystals on the next few

yeah knowing and doing are two different things lol....my last season was a dud just working on things when they go into flower has prob been my biggest problems and shit seeds would be a factor...

Im hearing ya man, I made the same mistake last year and lost about 4 plants that all went hermie and fucked up. Learnt a valuable leason not to use unknown genetics! Think next year im going full feminised stock to save time and $$

my only one went hermie last year from a mate who gave it to me who said you wont go wrong with this one lol.....soon as season was finished I ordered a heap of different fem seeds from herbies and that what im using this season...

Hahah never again huh. Yeah ive heard alot about herbies, quite a few people seem to buy from there. Made the right decision with the fems, goodluck mate
I bought my stock from white label, was keen to try something that thrived in the aussie climate but the guy in the shop was too baked to care what he sold me. Ive read MBS is/was a great strain but cant find it anywhere..
