May have been. Especially being bad seed. u kno to do the whole thing bout squeezin em just a bit to c if they're viable right? Did u keep them with the taproot up or did u flip the beans and face it downward?
ya i do that before i germinate them. i had most of them tap root up, but the ones that sprouted good were root down. I'll be planting them the other way from now on. is there a such thing as too much cfl lighting when there babies? are they that sensitive?
I don't think the lights r hurtin em. I use t5s and the fixture I use supposedly puts out 10000 lumens and if it doesn't burn em urs shouldn't. So did all the bagseed die? I haven't ever lost one puttin it root down. We will get u a plant man just hang with me lol. Do u water before or after u put the seed in dirt?
haha thanks for all the help man, i hope i can get a good plant goin too. so step by step, how do you plant your seeds after germination? Im prbly just gonna plant it in a 3 gallon container right away
yeah, watering the shit of it will either drown the seed or cause it to rot before it spouts. If you have fresh seeds then the best method is not the paper towel method people have used in the past. it is laying the seed horizontal into the soil about 1/4 inch deep and lightly covering it with soil then keeping it moist not SOAKING wet.
been doing it this way for years and always have success of around 95-100%. again assuming your seeds are fresh!
Hell yea. Gotta get it goin, I wanna c what it does. Ill let em germ till the tap root is exposed about a quarter inch then ill get my soil ready in a one gallon pot. Water it then make me a small hole with a nail to where the seed is just barely covered with dirt. Not a lot of dirt coverin it but enough where light doesn't get to it. And then they usually pop dirt and sprout within a day or two
I did 24/7 for a little bit. But when I started doin 18/6 when I started em I think it got better results. Seeing as the plant uses night to build its leaf and stem tissue. A lot of em would sprout that night and be 2 or 3 inches the next mornin
hey naturea, have u ever used jungle growth pure organic soil? Or heard of anyone else using it with good results? I looked online, but nobody has anything good or bad to say about it. right now im just using plain ass ace hardware soil (no nutes or anything) mixed with some mg perlite. maybe my seedlings havent been doing good bc of not having enough nutrients in the soil? I doubt it, but just a thought
I actually thought about tryin it myself. seen it at lowes. I think I found one grow on the net using it. Seems its the same as miracle gro. But u may be right about the nutes but honestly I couldn't tell u bro. Did u get some of that jungle growth? It would be worth a try if the plants keep dying in the other soil
cool man thanks. i actually think they were dying because of underwatering. the time before this I overwatered them, but I think I found a happy medium now (ya, I'm a rook) haha. 2 bag seeds are going good now, about 3 in. tall and a healthy color. My auto big bang seed just started to show its tail, so I'll be planting it in the jungle growth tomorw (o well, will buy more if it dies) will update soon
happy smoking
Yea man. Everybody makes mistakes. Just gotta accept it and keep tryin. Once u get it and order some seeds, it is worth it even if u just get a quarter cause its mostly all killer. Keep me posted. Itd make my day to kno I halfway helped lol just PM me if u want. Keep em blazin EDIT: If all goes well with the big bang auto I would suggest getting some flash autos. They're not feminized but they're only 3.50 4 bucks a seed too. I loved the purple mazar
