Auto defoliation - HELP

I don’t think you’ll have a issue. I’ve seen guys who do major defoliation. I’m actually trying it right now myself, mainlining a few autos. What’s the strain?

Once the thread is already in place...
I used All Mix soil from Biobizz and so far was just watering plain water - any ideas how to figure out the best time to start adding nutrients? (I don't have ppm meter or anything like that, still I don't want to wait for deficiencies signs..)
Appreciate!

One of the best pieces of advice I ever got on cooking a steak is to leave it the f**k alone and don't fiddle with it. People get overly eager with plants when the best thing you can do (in most cases) is to leave it the f**k alone also.

I'll leave this here as food for thought...

Leave it alone , it will do better without all unnecessary handling.

One of the most common issues with autos are USER related.
Just give it good light , water and a light feed. I just get mind blown on all of the unnecessary TACTICS when it comes to autos.

Let autos form its basic structure...... symmetry is key. Simple LST / Pinch can shape it .
No need to do much more than that . Their veg stage is LIMITED it is hard wired to push along to around week 5 before it sexes. If you delayed it for some technique then you affect the veg stage . Once it begins pistoling up it will be in transition.... YOU CANNOT STOP IT.

No Defol on them as they will use ALL RESOURCES as it pushes to finish ....
Usually in 90 days .... give or take.

By doing simple OPENING technique , It makes things happen .....

Symmetry... with tension tighten for a few days to SHAPE IT.
Strain dependent of course.

Not my illustration , but think it corresponds to tops ....

Anyways it uses the large wire hold downs ..... kind of like a monster crop done sideways , but circular.

Very nice illustration, thanks! but I can't do the circle any more since the most part (95%) of the pot is already filled with longer "branches". I'm on 7-10 tops step of the illustration now, just that side nodes are long and and all over the pot. Probably will stop on this point...
Overwatering shouldn't be the case... but will consider. I'm watering once the lights go off in the evening, not every day - just when the soil is dry around 1 cm deep
This is my first grow, so I try to be very careful and to avoid any intensive activities

Hi friends,
Growing my first auto and some sugar leaves are so big that after LST they put shadows on some bud places...
What do you think about some strategic defoliation? (Just a couple most bothering leaves to expose growth to light)
Appreciate your advices!
If this is your first auto run then do not try defoliation. Lst is good enough. Trust me on this.
