Auto Feminized Seed Crop

You may not find one that packs a punch if you haven't already. I smoke so much that the only way anything will pack a punch for me is if it is different than what I have been smoking recently.

The strongest auto I have grown was Super Lemon Haze. I pulled over 6 ounces per plant and it was pretty strong. The cannabinoid profile is different. That is one thing I like about autos, the ruderalis adds cannabinoids I am unaccustomed to. (The problem for me is that SLH makes me tired and hungry. If I smoke it in the morning, I need a nap later.) I do not want to speak ill of autos, I love them. For the most part I smoke regular because it is stronger and for me, better. That does not mean I do not grow and love autos. I have a shed that gets too hot for regular plants. The autos thrive there. Autos afford me more opportunities and are great. The bubble hash I made from my Lowryder2 leaves is amazing.

BTW, my Lowryder2 is great, but it it just doesn't do it for me. My friends love it, call the high "speedy and soaring."
It is like light beer to me. So, I take 3-4 bong hits of Lowryder2 and top it off with one rip of Double Blueberry.
The Lowryder2 is great, but for me it needs a tiny bit of help.

You can also buy Silver nitrate and Sodium Thiosulfate, they are chemicals used in photography, but you mix them together with equal amounts of water and then mix both together, and then before you use it you dilute it 9 parts water, to 1 part STS...It cost way less than buying CS, or making my own CS...
You just have to google using STS to reverse sex. It definitely works for sure though. and you get enough to herm as many plants as you want to.

I got over 1000 seeds per plant.


I am going to get another auto crop going at a friend's house soon. I will spray one branch of a Super Lemon Haze plant and selectively pollinate the other plants.

How hot is it in the shed where the auto thrive?

We hit over 90 something like 25 times in July. June was really hot. It got in the high 90s in the shed at times.
We added CO2 to try to help, but it was intermittent at best. (found out the regulator was leaking)
My poor Bubba Kush could not handle it, the autos did just fine.

Wow great thread never actually heard of someone using this technique, it was all theory to me. You may have saved me a lotttttt of money auto's my friend, please let us know how stable the youngin's are. (As in are they uniform or totally random from each other and their parents?)

So far I have only germinated three seeds, Lowryder2 x Autoberry and Lowryder2 x Super Lemon Haze. I am growing them outside, so they will grow differently than inside.

This is new territory for me.
as for stability

I can only guess right now. From experience, I am pretty sure the Lowryder2 x Lowryder2 will be very stable, almost like clones.

The crosses I am not sure. The Super Lemon Haze showed some different phenos but the lowryder2 was super stable and every plant looked the same.
So, I imagine there will be some variation. Seeing as how the Lowryder2 is the dad, I imagine the children will be pretty stable.

A friend is currently growing all of my varieties. I will keep this updated. I will be able to pick the LR2 X Autoberry in late September and the LR2 x SLH in early October.

Really to sum it up, CS is great for making fem seeds. If you self pollinate a plant, the seeds will basically be clones.
The breeding is up in the air, but I plan on growing the regular seeds we produce outside in my tent this winter.

Great thread man honestly deserves a sticky in another part of forums, iv read alot about this method but have yet to try it send some seeds my way? Hehe are u crossing autos with nonautos?? Seems like your goin a little seedhappy seeds will prolly go bad before u get a chance to crack em

if it would be to late to use CS to try and self pollinate one of the girls?

They are already showing female.

Feel like this thread needs a sticky on breeders forum, dont really wanna see it die... Tons of ppl dont know shot about fems but this is all legit and in debth.

I have germinated 10 year old seeds before. Some scientists germinated 2,000 + year old seeds.

I do not cross autos and regulars as the resulting seeds would be 75% regular and 25% auto with no way to tell but germinate them.
I am working on some regular fem seeds with an ISS and Blueberry shemales.

I would start spraying now, but not the whole plant. Get some lower branches.
It kind of depends on what you want to do. Make a seed crop? Get some buds with some seeds? Spray the whole thing and use it for pollen?

Don't smoke anything that has been sprayed.
I think branches on a plant that has been sprayed are fine, but not he ones that have been sprayed.

When I did a seed crop, I started spraying right at 2 weeks, but it hadn't shown flowers yet.

If you just want to self pollinate, spray 2 lower branches. the pollen will need some help hitting all the buds if you want a ton of seeds.

I wouldn't smoke branches that have been sprayed, I might smoke the rest of the plant.
I can see a build up of something on the branches I have sprayed. I have no idea what smoking plant material with colloidal silver on it would do to a person. Therefore, I would not advise smoking it.

The stuff that has been sprayed is not going to be any good anyway. It should be mostly male.

I personally do not smoke plants that have been used to make a seed crop. Those plants do not get flushed and they do not get dried/cured properly...
They are for seed production. It is great deseeding on an old record cover, it reminds me of high school. (Except my eyes get big looking at the seeds instead of the weed.) The leftover plant material will go to the needy.

Have you tried Afgan Ryder Kush. Puts me and my friends who have smoked it into the o zone. I'd give it a try. Mine were ready 71 days from germination to harvest yielding a tad over 40z from three plants under 750 watt mixed spectrum CFL'S.

Hi, sorry for the question but i have read the post and didnt see the answer (prolly cause its implied) but are the seeds you get in return autos aswell as all being fems?

Auto fem seeds, yes.

Making a female plant put out males flowers results in pollen without the male chromosome and fem seeds.
