Auto flower Hermaphrodite?

I'm sure I already know the answer as I am sick to my stomach. . I have a tangerine dream auto flower that started looking "seed poddy" about 3.5 weeks into flower. She is growing near two other autos. One looks like it has more bud but is starting to get these pods as well. The other looks normal so far. Questions as follows:
1. Is this a hermie? She started out normal and beautiful. We had 4 days of high heat, that is the only stress I can think of.
2. Obviously I need to cut it down but is it even smokable?
3. Do I cut down my other two as well?
4. I have 2 other photoperiod plants still in veg state, large and bushy not in preflower. Are they salvageable once I cut down these 3?
Sick to my stomach..

Those don't look like seed pods to me ... looks like some weird combination of revegging and foxtailing ... are you growing outdoors? What are your temps/rh like? Details are helpful... some pics of the whole plants may help as well

Yeah, those high temps may be the culprit, high temps in mid to late flower can definitely cause foxtailing like you see ... is that diatomaceous earth on the soil and lower leaves?

Yes, I did the DE last nite on the stalk because I'm a bit neurotic. I'm not familiar with foxtailing. What do I need to do? Chop her down? Leave her be?

Some of the posts say to harvest now. I'm comfortable to let her continue but if shes done shes done. What would you do? It's my 3rd year of growing and never had this even under the same hot temps. So let her keep going?

Hallelujah. I have watched so many videos and bu the time I was done, more confused than ever. I guess she is foxtailing so I'll just keep going forward and put her in a cooler area in my yard.
Yeah, thats exactly what I would suggest. Just keep an eye on her. Foxtailing can be completely harmless, but it can also indicate other issues. Hows the humidity where you are?

Also, just for future reference, here is a plant I pollinated that has gone to seed ... you can see the difference in appearance.

A herm'ed plant throws nanners that look like this...

(Image borrowed from www.growweedeasy.com, cause nanners never stay in my garden long enough for pictures)

These nanners CAN release pollen ... but they don't always. Some people pluck em off and keep growing. If they do release pollen, especially if its late in flower, they usually won't make a whole plant go to seed in my experience. You usually just start seeing a few seeds clustered in certain parts.

You're amazing. I have been sick to stomach about this debacle. Your hermie looks so much like mine. It is hard for me to tell the difference between pistils and nanners. I live in the desert so we have very low humidity. This is my purple haze auto that looks delish and my fruity pebbles that looks a bit foxtail. I just want them all to look like the purple haze. Btw, these strains may not be what I say. I have replacements coming from seed bank and neither fruity pebbles or purple haze were supposed to be autos.
Thank you so much for your help you have set my mind at ease. Dont know how I ever grew without this forum. You gents are amazeballs!

Up close pistols are fuzzy, nanners are smooth. Pistols are (usually) white, orange or a shade of brown. Nanners are yellow, sometimes greenish yellow.

When you see a nanner you'll know.

That fruity pebbles looks off too to be honest, but the Purple haze looks great. Where did you get these seeds from by the way?

Growers choice. I had a tough time getting replacements since these 2 turned out to be auto not the regular feminized I purchased. I had to push and push. They originally told me it was because I grew the auto with regular plants and it sent them into flower. I about lost it with them at that point. Anyway, the fruity pebbles looks better than the tangerine dream I originally sent pics of. The fruity pebbles looks half seed poddy and half semi normal. But I know what you mean. It has lots of orange hairs on it. Only plant that looks normal is my "purple haze" or whatever the heck it is.

Come again??? What a bonkers thing to claim ... thats beyond bro science

What do you think could be "fruity pebbles" issue?
Honestly its hard to tell from the pictures, but that one looks like it may actually be seedy, in the picture of the small buds in particular.

Not much you can do at this point other than ride it out either way. Just to be clear, a seeded plant has been pollinated, but that doesn't mean it was a hermie... one plant can throw a nanner and pollinate itself, or other plants. You can also pick up pollen on the wind from other growers.

Ain't gonna lie though, I'd look into getting some better genetics for your next grow. Look for strains that are known to perform well in high temp, low humidity regions.

Are those calyx soft or is there a seed in them? if no seeds, then it's not that unusual. High tems can cause this, buds with large, fluffy calyxes, I've had this happen in my greenhouse with several strains. Has no affect on quality. If seeded, the you either have a hermie lurking or if outdoors, pollen from some other grow.

Hi. There are no seeds, they are soft. I have mutilated a few calyxes (okay maybe a touch more than a few) in search of seeds. :-) I think they did foxtail. I am trying to keep them cooler, well watered but near light while they finish out. The Tangerine Dream just looks awful, doesn't even look like buds. Not really looking forward to smoking it. Compared to the purple haze, which looks like gorgeous buds. Just finally saw a minimal few amber trichs so maybe another week before harvest. The auto timeline is pretty speedy and this is my first try with autos.
