Auto flower question

Doing a guerilla grow with several different strains from Bomb Seeds and they are all going strong but received some freebies from attitude that are auto flowering....Samsara Flash Babylon and Delicious Seeds La Diva. Been watering at the mouth to try a hempy bucket grow and figured these two would be good to experiment with in maybe a 3 gallon hempy. I'm a noob and was wondering how early I can begin to apply a light feeding of nutes? They finish very quick and I want to get a jump on things.

I'm not familiar with those 2 strains but I have grown a bunch of different autos from the 'Tude. For most autos a 3-gallon pot is too big.
Autos typically finish fast, that is one of their main advantages. A 3-gallon pot will accomodate a plant through at least a 3 month lifespan.
So why use a pot that will actually slow down your finish time? Most of my autos finish in 8-10 weeks.

When seedlings are first transplanted into dirt the first thing they do is send out roots to find the sides of the pot. After the roots hit the sidewalls the
plant will start to grow vertically. So putting your auto seedling into a big pot will waste time as the roots wander around. I'm not sure what you mean by
"hempy bucket grow" but to me that means a hot grow. That's where hot means fast. If you want to burn through a fast auto grow put your seedlings into
smaller pots. I use 7-quart pots to burn through an auto grow. Works for me.

Steve is pretty much right, every auto I have grown is alittle shrimp ( I have grown only attitude freebies)..even a 1 gallon pot is probably too big....don't get your hopes up and really don't even waste your time is my advice..I know some people have luck on autos but they are probably in the miniroity. I don't feel like newbies should grow autos, its probably more for advanced growers, I notice a trend and thats people who are scientific and good growers with a lot of passion do well with the autos and others do not. I can't grow ruderallis for shit but I can grow great sativa/indicia

I'm growing Barney's Pineapple Express Auto in a 3.5 gallon pot with no problems. It's been in the pot about 8 weeks and has probably a couple of weeks to go. IMG_7459.jpg

autos no challenge to adv growers i dont think

nonutin but thrive first two weeks (like any other seedling)
then go to about 1/4 strenth nutes
i start wit veg food till flowering is well ounder way
then i switch to flower food
i normaly start at 1/4 strenth then work my way up to 1/2 strenth
an thats where i mak out at 1/2 strenth for autos
i normally stop feeding after week seven
and i relace food with molasses and water till finish

autos more light =more bud
a auto under flouresent tubes small yield
auyo under cfl adv yield
under hps or cmh great
under the sun in best climate best

always give yo autos a rest perioud
20/4 or 18/6 schedule beginning to end

Thanks everyone. I'll put all this advice together and make an educated decision. Special thanks to Ganja. I'll follow that nute schedule and see how it works out.

what you want to do is has their first feeding only be a mild foliar spray and root stimulator for 1 week @ about week 3, otherwise i agree!!

Autos are easy and fast. Put them in small pots, nute-water daily and keep the lights at 20/4.
In 8 weeks you are reaching for a pipe.

I use "BLOOM" from Dyna-Gro (3-12-6) as my flowering nute. 2 tablesponns per gallon of water.
