Auto flowering seeds

Hope this doesn't sound completely retarded. I know enough i believe about the 18/6 veg cycle and the 12/12 flowering cycle. If i purchase some seeds that say they are auto flowering do you start off at the 12/12 cycle or what? Can someone please explain this to me. Thanks guys.

the attraction to autoflowering is you just give the plant 24 hours of light all the way to harvest (i believe, but whatever) and you dont need to switch the amount of light to induce flowering. now once it starts to flower by itself, do you then switch to 12 hours of light? i dont know. but hope this helps.

No you don't ever go 12-12 with auto flowering plants. It is crossed with retrials plant, So that makes it auto flowering.

I would think 18 hrs is good that is what i veg at most of the time. 24 hrs is kind of long to me i think of them as if i was the plant do you want to go 24-7 with out sum kind of resting time.

Auto flowering sounds pretty cool. So you think just do a 18/6 from beginning to end? I've never used these before so I have no idea.
